Re: Cosmo-Knights and recovery of P.P.E.
Yes, Tor, that is part of it. The CK's massive PPE to start plus the huge expenditures to use various abilities had me wondering if they were given special abilities similar to mages for recovering PPE. Since it isn't mentioned anywhere else, I'm going with Tinker Dragon's line of thought that it is...

Cosmo-Knights and recovery of P.P.E.
Greetings All,
I am having trouble determining the recovery rate of P.P.E. for a Cosmo-Knight. Is it mentioned in any of the books?

Control Insects and the Xiticix
Greetings All,
I was positive there was a connection between these two mentioned in the books but now I can't find it. I know it specifically mentions small insects in HU but many powers become over 10 times more powerful in a Rifts setting (such as SDC becoming MDC).

Re: Swarm-Selves, Psionics, and Magic
Thank you drewkitty. I was hoping it was addressed in a Rifter or there was something comparable to it (such as an update to Multiple Beings/Selves that might give some insight if not answers).

Swarm-Selves, Psionics, and Magic
Greetings All, My guess is Swarm-Selves effects psionic abilities like everything else except I don't know about ISP. How does it get divided? Equally? Is Magic effected the same way? How is PPE divided? Does it effect spells the same way? What about a spell like Annihilate? (because obviously my pl...

Manifestation Power from Dragons & Gods
Greetings All, The Manifestation power looks very similar to the Doppleganger spell but it isn't quite as specific in its description. Is there anything else written about it in any of the other books? Does the Manifestation duplicate have the same level and attributes as the original? Does this dup...

Defense against Disruptive Touch?
Greetings All, Does anyone know of a defense against Disruptive Touch, a Major Super Ability, found in Heroes Unlimited? It states there are no bonuses. Would it work the same way in Rifts? Are there creatures, such as dragons, gods, and splugorth who would be immune to it? Would Bio Manipulation, a...

Re: Glitter Boys spending an action to 'plant' pylons
No, the Glitter Boy is not knocked down or staggered because of the suit's weight, the anti-sway pylons and recoil thrusters. The same is true of most giant robots 12 feet or bigger. Woah, why would the anti-sway pylons even be mentioned if they are only down for the instance of firing? Not sure wh...

Re: Glitter Boys spending an action to 'plant' pylons
Some people got the impression the pylons had to be planted before firing the gun, and stayed planted until intentionally retracting them. There are some ambiguous passages from the books giving weight to their reasoning. Anti-Sway Pylons and Toe Hook are activated just before gun is to be fired. Gu...

I believe that running a game at a Con is far, FAR, different than running it with a group of friends that you will most likely spend time with in the future. The illogical aspects, rules or metaplot, are like speed bumps. They don't keep us from playing, but they do interfere with the game, especially the suspension of disbelief. They also prevent us from bringing new blood into the game. The sad part is they are fixable, but apparently it isn't that imp...
