It’s a surprise because you never know exactly what you’re going to get or who will sign your books, because we pick from your Wishlist and may surprise you with stuff you are not expecting. Extra items may include other RPGs, sourcebooks, issues of the Rifter®, miniatures, prints, art books, poker deck, notepad, greeting cards, T-shirts, and other items. Some books may be slightly damaged (scuffs, scratches, dings, a bent or crunched corner, etc.) so we can send you more.

Shipping via Priority Mail International (required for packages weighing more than four pounds) to most locations in Europe, Canada, and many other countries is around $70-$90 US dollars. HOWEVER, because the cost of the product is so low, that’s the equivalent of paying retail for the products and only $20-$40 for shipping. A very good deal. Plus you get autographs if you want them! One-of-a-kind Palladium Books negatives are always very popular items at the Palladium Open House, Gen Con, and conventions, and are catching on as rare collectibles, unique in and of themselves. Last year at Granite State Comic Con Kevin Eastman had TMNT negatives from the first comic book on display.
Before digital printing, pages of a book were laid out by hand on a board, and each page was photographed. These are the photographic negatives being sold as individual works of art and collectibles. When matted or framed on a white background they look like dynamic wood cut prints. And they are on sale right now! |

| | | | An exciting week
Despite the government shutdown, our concern for many of you, and the prevailing malaise we see all around us, here at Palladium Books we had an exciting week and we’re getting very excited about the weeks ahead.
One reason, books are back in stock! 15 of the 30+ reprint titles arrived on Monday, so many of the titles that have been out of print are now available. This is after a SNAFU at our printer and a series of long delays. The next batch of reprints should arrive the week of November 17 (maybe sooner), which means most of our books will be available to you in time for Christmas! Whew, what a relief.
A second reason, Christmas Surprise Package shipping is in full swing. As I talked about in last week’s Closing Thoughts, the Palladium crew and I love making this fun special offer available every year with deep discounts and signed books. Try one, you will not regret it. But fair warning: You may end up buying several for yourself and/or the gamers in your life. A third reason is Sophie Campbell’s draft for the brand new, TMNT & Other Strangeness digital adventure exclusive for Kickstarter Backers, has arrived. It’s fun. I’m reformatting, adding some details, and putting the finishing touches on it this weekend.

The BIGGEST reason for excitement: The TMNT & Other Strangeness Kickstarter rewards start shipping in a couple of weeks! What a journey it has been. We cannot wait until these books and rewards are in your hands. It’s one thing for us to tell you how beautiful they are or to see images online or even actual samples at conventions, but it’s an entirely different and joyful experience when you actually hold your copy in your hands and take your time looking at all the gorgeous art, skim the 80+ mutant animals, read about mutant dinosaurs and time travel, and enjoy the many written remembrances and new splash page tribute art.
The TMNT & Other Strangeness books are truly a work of passion by me and Sean, and everyone who contributed. We love and appreciate the fans of the original RPG, the TMNT fans, TMNT artists, and most of all, we adore Erick Wujcik, Kevin Eastman, and Peter Laird. So from the first second Sean and I began talking about the Redux editions and Kickstarter rewards, we set out to make it all feel brand new, special, and glorious. It has been a privilege to honor them and give service to so many fans across the entire spectrum of Ninja Turtles fandom.
You have no idea what truly big fans Sophie Campbell, Freddie E. Williams II, the Mirage Studio artists, Ciro Nieli, Rawson Marshall Thurber, and EVERYONE who contributed to these books are of the NInja Turtles and the original RPG. It was like a fantastic dream hearing their stories and working with these talented, and in some cases legendary, artists, writers, and filmmakers.
I hope you’re excited too. Not just about the remastered Redux RPG releases, but the Christmas Surprise Package offer, the new (if buggy) Palladium website and store, and everything Palladium Books is moving toward.
