CLOSING THOUGHTS

New Year, New Promise

I’m going to keep this short so you can get to the fun fan comments below.

A new year comes with the promise of new things and better times. We hope that will be the case with Palladium Books in 2026 and beyond.

I’ll get into more specifics in the next Weekly Update, but Sean and I have big plans for the future. Plans, that with the help of stalwarts like Wayne Smith, Alex Marciniszyn, Caleb Nelson, Matthew Clements, Mark Dudley, and Ramon K. Perez, new allies like Jeremy Colantonio and Mike Majestic, and partners like Paramount, Alliance Distribution, Studio 2, TransPerfect International, Ark Transportation, LongPack, and others we have yet to reveal, should set the stage for an exciting and bright future for the company. A future in which we are stronger and bigger and bolder than ever.

Sean and I are still rebuilding Palladium’s foundation and looking for the right additional people and partners to help carry us into our next 45 years of publishing. That said, you’ll start to see the results of those efforts and alliances with a number of the books you have been waiting for being released in 2026, and some new thrilling announcements, talent, and fun.

TMNT & Other Strangeness Redux editions and products are a glorious success and the beginning of what’s to come. We hope you continue to spread the word about them and stay with us for the journey ahead.

Meanwhile, enjoy a safe New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, the comments from fans like you below, snag yourself a Surprise Package while you still can, tell everyone about the TMNT & Other Strangeness RPG Redux editions (make sure you get yourself a first printing before they sell out!), and enjoy the promise of the New Year. From all of us at Palladium Books to all of you – may the new year bring you good health, joy, and prosperity.

– Kevin Siembieda, Publisher, Game Designer, Writer, Friend

Surprise Package comments from fans like you

Every year we like to post a selection of the comments we get from Surprise Package customers. It’s a nice acknowledgement and thank you to them (you know who you are) and you enjoy reading them. I read each and every comment that comes in the Surprise Packages and I like to post a brief response to the ones that appear in these Updates. We appreciate each and every one of you whether you included a comment or not. Happy New Year!

J.S. in San Francisco, writes: Thanks for extending the date of the Surprise Package offer! I’m ordering two this year, and this is the Rifts one.

[You are very welcome J.S., enjoy. – Kevin]

S.P. in Newport, Delaware, writes (in part): Hello, Comrades. Happy New Year and I wish that you all continue to delight us with new books, especially those related to Rifts. The universes of Palladium Books are amazing and unique, and I want to explore them deeper and deeper… all the best. Your fan from Russia.

[Thank you, S.P. I am always amazed at how far our RPG books reach across the globe. We’re thrilled you enjoy our worlds and lore so much. Happy new year and game on. – Kevin]

P.F. in Aitkenvale, Australia, writes: I was a huge fan of Palladium through my teen years in the early 1990s. My kids stumbled upon my old, very well-loved books and have now become obsessed too. Huge thanks to the team for giving me a way to escape through tough times when I was younger, and a chance to share the amazing worlds you have created with my kids 30 years later.

[I love hearing these kinds of stories, P.F., thank you for sharing. Makes me smile from ear to ear. Nice. – Kevin]

C.G. in Colonial Heights, Virginia, writes: You’re the best. I got to know y’all from 1988-1992. My main umbilical to civilization was Dragon Magazine, where I took a chance on mail ordering Palladium Fantasy 1st edition. Loved it! And kept ordering more, like Rifts, etc. I told you guys back then how much I loved Palladium Books and when Rifts® arrived, lo and behold, Blytheville, Arkansas, was in Rifts first edition. I don’t play much now, but want to start playing again, introducing it to my kids. Merry Christmas to you all, and thank you for decades of wonder.

[C.G., thank you for sharing this fun story. Welcome back! I hope you enjoyed the Surprise Package and have fun revisiting the Megaverse® with a new generation. Happy new year, may it be full of adventure and wonder. – Kevin]

G.O. in Meridian, Mississippi, writes (in part): I have loved TMNT & Other Strangeness and Rifts since I got my little hands on those books and began to torture my friends with time loops and cross-dimensional travel sessions. I love y’all and I appreciate all the imaginative joy you have brought to me over the years. Thank you Kevin and tell your staff we love them.

I am ordering this Surprise Package on behalf of my Father, who wrote the above, but the sentiment is shared. Palladium is responsible for a dominant portion of my TTRPG experiences and knowledge. It has been and continues to be one of the greatest games of my life. While I run and play other games, I always come back to Palladium to find new campaigns, new one-offs, and to make new memories. Every Christmas for a few years now I order three of these packages, one for me, one for my Father, and one for my Mother. Without them and you, I would not be nearly the player or the GM that I am today, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you for all the work you do.

[G.O., you and your Dad’s comments made me smile, chuckle, and tear up. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I am proud and humbled to have played such a role in your gaming and family fun-time experiences. For me, it doesn’t get more rewarding than this. You made my heart soar with joy. Please, game on and stay awesome. – Kevin]

M.B. in Shamrock, Oklahoma, writes (in part): I just want to thank you guys for bringing us the great Palladium game system. It’s such a great Megaverse®. One of the few things my 17 year old son still looks forward to doing with me is breaking out our Rifts books and playing. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas … I love hearing you on the podcasts, Kevin.

[I’m happy to hear that our RPGs remain a shared experience between you and your son, M.B., that’s awesome. I love how RPGs break through age and societal barriers. Both of you keep your imaginations burning and game on! – Kevin]

M.A. in Wasco, California, writes (in part): … Returning to the Palladium Megaverse® has been a huge way to cope … I thank you for all you do. Keep up the creative work you and your team do. These Surprise Packages are wonderful. I’m about 88% to owning the entire Palladium catalog!

[Thank you for your kind words, M.A., they are appreciated. This Grab Bag has put you closer to completing your collection, though we have a number of new titles planned for the new year. May the New Year bring you nothing but joy and improved good health. – Kevin]

C.D. JR. in Jacksonville, Florida, writes (in part): Thank you all for even existing. This company and games seriously changed my life and steered it for the better… you do such an amazing job … I’m so happy you are redoing the TMNT books. I can’t wait to see what you guys send [in my Surprise Package] …

[You are very welcome, C.D., and thank you for your kind words. We’re happy our games have brought you so much joy over the years. And yes, you can expect more amazing books and surprising announcements in the year ahead. – Kevin]

J.A. in Eagle Point, Oregon, writes (in part): I look forward to the Surprise Package every year. Palladium Books is my favorite system to run. Everything is cross-playable, making for some amazing gameplay. My sincerest condolences to all of you at Palladium for the recent losses. I had hoped to attend an Open House and meet Kathy. I still hope to attend an Open House and see where the magic happens. Thank you for fueling our imaginations. With how things are today, we need the break from reality.

[Thank you for your kind words, J.A. – Kathy was an astonishing human being and Julius was a super-gamer/G.M. and dear friend. I’m not sure when we’ll do another Open House, but the magic happens wherever you game. – Kevin]

D.T. in San Antonio, Texas, writes: I hope this past year was amazing for all the staff there at Palladium Books and next year is even better. Really looking forward to 2nd Edition Island at the Edge of the World (shameless hint there). Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

[Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, right back at you, D.T. This past year has certainly been busy with Ninja Turtles and as we lay the foundation for new products and surprises for the next few years to come. – Kevin]

A.F. in Corbin, Kentucky, writes: I hope that you all have a good set of holidays this year and that the transition into 2026 is smooth. While my schedule keeps me from the table these days, it’s always good to have something to read, with Palladium’s titles being one of my go-tos. I’m looking forward to seeing that psionics book for Chaos Earth if it’s still on the list to come out.

[Thanks for the kind words and continuing support, A.F. We are looking forward to the new year and the many things we have in our plans for Palladium’s future. Psychic Scream is still on the schedule, but probably is not a 2026 release. First Responders, Bestiary 2, Rifts Antarctica, Yin-Sloth Expeditions, and a few other books are coming before it. – Kevin]

L.C. in Sarasota, Florida, writes: New website, new books, new merch, and a return of a classic, it’s good to see Palladium doing so well.

[Thank you, L.C., these are exciting times and we have big plans for Palladium’s future. We’re just getting started. – Kevin]

Happy Holidays from Palladium Books^® – December 24, 2025

My Dear Friends,

Merry Christmas, a blessed Kwanzaa, a belated Happy Hanukkah, and a day of peace and joy whether you celebrate something different or nothing at all. The holidays are upon us. We hope you enjoy a special day of cheer and joy that you can hold in your heart every day into the New Year. Dare to believe in our commonality and that goodness outweighs the bad.

It has become a Palladium Books tradition to keep the Christmas Weekly Update short and focused on holiday joy. That means minimal business talk and an extra big dose of Fan Comments taken from the Christmas Surprise Package orders at the end of this Update.

The big news is, as I often do, I am extending the Surprise Package deal into the New Year (more about that and why, below). So without further ado, enjoy.

Surprise Package Deal – Extended into the New Year

Is this a Christmas miracle? A mistake? Utter lunacy?

None of the above. (Well, maybe that last one.) It has become tradition that I extend the Christmas Surprise Package Offer through the end of December and into the New Year! Yes, this means you can still snag one or two if you act quickly. This very special offer now ends January 14, 2026, and will NOT be extended further. Oh, and you can ship via the less expensive method of Media Mail again because you do not need it for a holiday deadline.

A Surprise Package is a nice way to start the New Year and is a great gift for birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, and any gift-giving occasion. Or start the New Year with a stack of RPGs or sourcebooks you have been meaning to try or that you need to fill holes in your collection, or replace battered well-loved books.

We extend the Surprise Package offer for those of you who have been so busy spending your time and money on your family and friends, that you have not had the opportunity or funds to treat yourself to a well-deserved Christmas Surprise Package. We know this happens and don’t want you to miss out.

We also extend it for those of you who cannot get enough of Palladium’s games and want to start the New Year off with a setting or source material to launch a new campaign. It’s also for those of you who can use a Surprise Package as the perfect gift for a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion coming up in January or February (Valentine’s Day?), so take advantage of this sale to get gifts for the special gamer(s) in your life.

The extension is also for you Johnny Come-Latelies who were meaning to get one, but how time flies during the holidays. It’s also a way for those of you struggling through financial issues to carry some gaming fun into the New Year to stay busy and distracted through the winter months. So please, spread the word about the extended Surprise Package sale period, and travel the Megaverse® from the warmth and safety of your home.

What is a Christmas Surprise Package?

Besides being the best deal in gaming – $105+ worth of goodies (often more) for $62 (plus shipping) – it’s a smile and a hug that comes in a box filled with signed game books from available Palladium staff and freelancers at PDF prices. That can nab you four or more items when these days one core rule book can cost you that alone.

These Surprise Packages are our way of saying thank you for your support and showing you our love and appreciation. It’s a surprise because you never know exactly what you’re going to get or who will sign your books, because we pick from your Wish List and may surprise you with stuff you are not expecting. Extra items may include other RPGs, sourcebooks, issues of the Rifter®, novels, miniatures, prints, art books, greeting cards, T-shirts, negatives, and other items. Some books may be slightly damaged (scuffs, scratches, dings, a crunched corner, etc.) so we can send you more. But time is running out. We can only extend the holiday season for so long. Get one while you still can. Ends January 14, 2026.

Reminder: PDF Sale – 25% off – in Palladium Books online store

Amboria RPG – A J-M DeFoggi Backerkit Crowdfunder you might want to support

Like many of you, J-M enjoys designing RPGs and sourcebooks. He worked on the World’s Largest Dungeon and was the sole-designer/writer of the Jackals RPG and two Jackals sourcebooks published by Osprey Games. So he ain’t no amateur. Many of you know J-M from the dozens of YouTube chats and interviews on Palladium’s YouTube channel and elsewhere.

Take a look at the Amboria Kickstarter – based on the world building of Richard Rohlin

• Amboria: Roleplaying in the World Under Starlight is a tabletop RPG of high adventure and culture-building set in The World Under Starlight, an original fantasy setting two decades in the making.

• The game draws on the liturgy, lore, romance, and history of eastern Europe and the Black Sea, presenting a rich tapestry of legends and folklore for players to explore.

• Players portray Adventurers—courageous figures on the kingdom’s frontier who journey into darkness, battle monsters, and uncover long-buried secrets as they struggle to build communities that can withstand the coming night.

• Amboria’s rules assume a long-form campaign spanning multiple in-game seasons and years. As Adventurers grow in power, their ties to their community deepen—and so too do the threats arising from within and without.

• Over time, player characters are challenged to become more than mere Adventurers: to put down roots, create art, patronize shrines, enrich the present with the treasures of the past, and protect the weak and vulnerable.

• “Richard’s Amboria is a genuinely unique setting, one of culture, lore, and language so well-conceived and integrated that it brings to mind Tolkien’s approach to world creation. I’ve never read anything quite like it, an immediately immersive breath of fresh air.” – Tim Brown (Dark Suns)

CLOSING THOUGHTS

Merry Christmas

It’s Christmas tomorrow, Kwanzaa the next day, and general good cheer and tidings into the new year. All of us at Palladium Books wish you nothing but joy and happiness. Enjoy good eats, giftgiving and the friends and family you’ll be spending time with, but also call, text, or email a holiday message to everyone you care about. Even a text that says Merry Christmas or happy holidays or thinking of you means the world to people.

My sweet, beautiful Kathy Simmons knew how much I loved her. I told her so all the time. When she passed away without warning, I was comforted knowing there was nothing left unsaid between us. She knew how important and appreciated she was by me. I have nothing but fond memories of our life together and few regrets, yet my heart breaks a little every day, I miss her so.

Please, tell the people who mean something to you how much you care. Let them know they matter and are important. It will be the simplest and most meaningful gift you give to anyone. And all it costs is a little bit of your time.

Everyone here at Palladium has put our fans and customers first with the shipping of Surprise Packages and all orders since Thanksgiving. That’s more demanding and time consuming than you might imagine. Good ol’ Caleb, Alex, me and other helpers have even been coming in on the weekends to pull, pack and ship orders. Every Monday a tear rolls down the cheek of our USPS worker when she sees the number of packages she has to squeeze into her truck. That means, personally, I still have at least a dozen friends whose Christmas gifts need to be wrapped, boxed, and shipped. I’ll be letting them know when I text and call them tonight and tomorrow. I know they’ll understand and I know they’ll love the gifts when they get them in January. Thankfully, people enjoy getting gifts anytime.

My love and appreciation to them and to all of you who make our work and lives rewarding.

I read each and every comment that comes in the Surprise Packages, and they always brighten my day. We all appreciate your kind words, suggestions, and insights. In fact, the idea to do hardcover editions of core rule books came from fan comments in the Grab Bags. We get a lot so we can only offer a sampling of these comments in the Weekly Updates.

Our heartfelt thanks to all of you who have stuck with Palladium through thick and thin and now these new chaotic times. Please use our games to find escape from your day to day grind and worries. Use them to bring a little joy, laughter, and adventure to the holiday season and beyond.

Your comments and support mean the world to all of us. Thank you for making us smile and feel valued. As always, I have tried to write a short response [in brackets] to each comment. Happy holidays.

– Kevin Siembieda (and the Palladium Crew)

D.M. in New Richmond, Wisconsin, writes: Much love and a Merry Christmas to the whole team. Thank you for decades of fun and memories.

[It’s all about the fond memories, isn’t it D.M.? That’s part of the beauty and magic of RPGs. Merry Christmas and happy New Year to you and yours. – Kevin]

J.B. in Erlanger, Kentucky, writes: Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and blessings for the new year to Santa Kev and all the awesome Palladium elves. The Surprise Package is one of our favorite traditions and always a favorite gift. Thanks for keeping our imaginations burning bright!

[The pleasure is all ours, J.B. May the new year bring us all nothing but good health, joy, and good fortune. Game on! – Kevin]

A.F. in Union Grove, Alabama, writes: This Surprise Package is for my wife. She loves all your stuff.

[Hi A.F., don’t worry, we made the Surprise Package extra special, she’ll love it. – Kevin]

D.M. in Louisville, Kentucky, writes: This is a surprise for my husband who has been playing your system since the first Mechanoid Invasion digest books and Palladium Fantasy came out. We are impressed by the scope and relative ease of the game system. And he is promising to run a Heroes Unlimited game.

[That’s cool, D.M., I made sure to make the Surprise Package extra special. I’m always delighted to see how many gamers have played our games for decades and generations. It’s awesome. Merry Christmas and may the New Year be filled with prosperity, good health and wonder. – Kevin]

D.M.V. in Fort Collins, Colorado, writes (in part): Guys, I think it’s insane you are still doing this. Keep being iconoclasts. I actually have the TMNT & Other Strangeness copies from when Mirage Studio sold theirs – authenticated! I sat out the Kickstarter, but I just might get the reprint too.

[We appreciate the kind words, D.M.V. And trust me, you want the two Redux editions. Both books are much more than “reprints.” They are in amazing full color for the first time ever and have a ton of bonus material such as new tribute art by comic book and gaming legends, other new art, written remembrances, history, concept art, rules clarifications, new layout, and more. They are a dream and gamers have been going crazy over them. Available now. – Kevin]

M.M. in Spanish Fork, Utah, writes: Love you guys. Don’t ever change.

[Hi M.M., we love you too. Change is growth and you want to continue to learn and grow your entire life. Change is also inevitable whether we want it or not, we must adapt and try new things. All that said, we try to change and grow for the better, with the idea of getting smarter and wiser. Rest assured, we plan on keeping the Palladium legacy of always putting our customers, fun, and quality first. I hope that wasn’t too philosophical. – Kevin]

B.W. in Winnipeg, Canada, writes: I want to say to everyone from Kevin down with Palladium, you are all doing a great job and I am a fan for life. Have a Merry Christmas.

[Merry Christmas to you and yours, B.W. We appreciate your kind words. You are correct, Sean and I are blessed with a great team who care about each other, the products, and our precious customers/fans/friends. Each one is dedicated and works hard to do things right. – Kevin]

K.L. in Plymouth, Indiana, writes: I love your products! Merry Christmas.

[Thanks, K.L. Merry Christmas to you from all of us. – Kevin]

B.M. in Merritt, Canada, writes (in part): Keep things coming guys. Love the products and worlds, but would really like to see more focus on non-Coalition sources … In any case folks, keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more from you in the future.

[The Coalition is a major force in North America – good and bad – but there are plenty of books that don’t focus on them at all. Likewise, a number of the upcoming titles are CS free, like Rifts® Antarctica, Bestiary 2, Rifts First Responders, and others I can’t yet reveal. – Kevin]

G.D. in Punta Gorda, Florida, writes (in part): Not sure if you actually read these Surprise Package comments, but I wanted to say … You guys put a lot of love into your books. I watch a lot of Palladium Books series on YouTube and I am excited to see what you guys have in store for the future. I wish you guys the best of luck … I enjoy reading the books, looking through the art and watching YouTube content about the various settings and game systems you guys have to offer. Here’s to, hopefully, many more prosperous years of Palladium Books.

[Hi G.D., first, yes, I read each and every Surprise Package and the Comments within; it’s one of my favorite parts. The staff reads most of them too. Thank you for your very kind words and warm well wishes. We hope you as well as Palladium Books enjoy many years of good health and prosperity, too. Take care and game on. – Kevin]

J.C. in St.Clair Shores, Michigan, writes (in part): My first RPG was Robotech way back in the day. As a big fan of comic books, I quickly got into TMNT and Heroes Unlimited, and all the other Palladium titles that can tie in. And what’s a more iconic RPG than Palladium Fantasy? Of course, I also got into D&D, but the original Palladium Fantasy RPG called to me a bit more, and naturally led to Rifts® … Work done by your company decades ago is still bringing a new generation into RPGs and comics. My son is now three and a half and one of my old copies of the TMNT RPG caught his eye. (Not something I was thrilled with a young child playing with, but –) So we went through all the pictures together, which then led me to break out the graphic novels for story time … now he’s obsessed with Turtle Power. I showed him the Robotech books and we’re currently tearing through that series and he’s into anything superheroes … He’s also a big fan of dice.

[I love it, J.C., sounds like you’re raising him right. lol. You’ll have to take him to the Worlds of Palladium Books exhibit at the Detroit Historical Museum downtown by the Institute of Arts. I am stunned and humbled, but there is an exhibit about Palladium Books that runs from February till September, 2026. How amazing is that? – Kevin]

J.C. in Lebanon, Indiana, writes (in part): I think I own a little of every game setting made by your company … Rifts® is hands down my favorite RPG. Necromancers, Shifters, and Techno-Wizards being my go to O.C.C.s … As always, love you all. I probably wouldn’t have the friends I do now if it weren’t for finding Rifts. The world-building you created is so amazing, you all managed to fill every inch of Rifts Earth with something wild to think about and imagine. I can’t wait for Rifts Antarctica to be finished. I hope Splicers expands a few more books and I can’t wait to see what you all create next. Thanks for so many wild nights laughing with friends and so many memories.

[Ah, the friends and laughter through nights of wild adventurers. There’s nothing better is there, J.C.? There’s still places to be filled in and you will love Rifts® Antarctica. And Sean and I have a number of new worlds to offer in the years to come. Happy holidays and game on. – Kevin]

B.C. in Walland, Tennessee, writes: Merry Christmas to you and yours. I hope you all have a very wonderful holiday season.

[Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours, B.C. I hope the Surprise Package and Cyber-Monday sales help you find presents for the gamers in your life. Ho, ho, ho. – Kevin]

V.O. in Vicksburg, Mississippi, writes: Keep the faith and keep gaming.

[Thank you V.O., we will. Have to admit, there have been some ups and downs and heart shattering losses, but we continue to create epic worlds with deep lore for your and our enjoyment. You stay frosty and keep the faith yourself. Merry Christmas and enjoy a wonderful New Year. – Kevin]

J.B. in Granbury, Texas, writes (in part): Thanks for all you guys do. Blessings and prayers during this season, especially but throughout the new year. This is a gift for my husband who saved me from D&D and showed me Rifts® …

[J.B., thank you so much for your kind words and prayers. We’ll take all the prayers and blessings we can get. Also, thank you for making me laugh; glad you’ve been rescued from D&D. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, prayers and blessings right back atcha. Ho, ho, ho. – Kevin]

R.N. in Kawkawlin, Michigan, writes: I love you guys and think you really are a shining example of how to run a game company.

[Aw shucks, R.N., thank you for the love and high praise. If you mean putting our customers first and creating quality, fun games, we couldn’t agree with you more. We make our share of mistakes, but we always try to put our best foot forward. Happy holidays. – Kevin]

B.J.W. in Winnipeg, Canada, writes: First off, I would like to wish a Happy Holidays to everyone at Palladium Books. And I would like to say thank you for allowing me to discover Palladium Fantasy 2nd Edition RPG. This system and world is everything I’ve looked for in an RPG.

[That’s fantastic B.J.W.! Enjoy and explore the possibilities. And a very, merry Christmas and wonderful new year to you and yours. – Kevin]

D.J. in Gilbert, Arizona, writes: Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

[Thank you D.J., same to you and loved ones. Please enjoy a safe and joyful holiday. Our thoughts and well-wishes are with you all. – Kevin]

6 DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS – TMNT SHIPPING – ONE GAME SYSTEM – EVERY GENRE – COUNTLESS WORLDS – ENDLESS MUTANTS AND ADVENTURE

BY KEVIN SIEMBIEDA

PDF Sale – Weekly Update – Palladium Books^® – December 19, 2025

Christmas is next week. Here’s what you need to know about our new sale, Surprise Package offer, a friend’s crowdfunder, and some fun.

There are six days till Christmas, but only 3 shipping days, requiring you to pay for expedited shipping for Christmas Eve delivery.

• UPS Ground – No additional fee, but only a 30% chance it will arrive in time for Christmas. Best odds are for packages headed to the eastern part of the country.

• UPS 2nd Day Air – Order by Sunday, December 21st, but you will pay a high price for expedited shipping.

• UPS Next Day Air – Order by Monday, December 22nd (to arrive December 24, Christmas Eve) – Even though it arrives the day after it ships, Palladium needs that order submitted by Monday, December 22nd. Next Day Air costs a high price for expedited shipping and will be delivered on Christmas Eve.

• All other means of shipping have a slim chance of arriving in time for Christmas, but we cannot guarantee you or your person will receive the package in time for the holidays. You should assume it will arrive a few days AFTER Christmas. I’m always surprised and impressed by the effort made by UPS, the USPS (United States Postal Service), and most shipping companies, but holiday delivery is at your own risk.

If you don’t need a Surprise Package (or an ordinary order) by Christmas, the Surprise Package offer runs thru Christmas Eve and is still the best deal around and you can ship it via Media Mail or Ground Advantage for the least expensive methods of shipping.

NEW PDF Sale – 25% off – in Palladium Books online store

Can’t get the physical book in time for the holidays? Then consider getting the PDF version of the books you want. The game settings listed below are on sale now thru January 2, 2026.

• All Rifts PDF titles – 25% off

• All Heroes Unlimited PDF titles – 25% off

• All After the Bomb PDF titles – 25% off

• And Ninjas & Superspies and Mystic China PDFs are on sale – 25% off

• Sale ends January 2, 2026.

Christmas Surprise Package – Ends December 24, 2025

This really is the best deal in gaming and our way of saying thank you and giving back to the community. If you’ve never gotten one you must try it, but time is running out. The offer is set to end Christmas Eve.

• The equivalent of a 40-60% discount.

• Signed books if you request autographs.

• Fun surprises.

• But it all comes to an END December 24, 2025 – get yours today.

Palladium’s annual Surprise Package Offer is not just for Christmas. It is a great gift for birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, house warmings, and any gift-giving occasion. It’s also a fun and inexpensive way to rebuild your collection, replace worn out books, and try new game settings you’ve wondered about – After the Bomb®, Beyond the Supernatural, Chaos Earth®, Dead Reign®, Heroes Unlimited, Ninjas & Superspies, Nightbane®, Palladium Fantasy, Rifts®, RECON, and others without spending a fortune.

Your “Wishlist” is vital – the Palladium Surprise Packages are designed to simulate the joy and surprise of the Christmas Season of Giving. To do this, you submit a list of 12-15 Palladium products (or more) FOR EACH Surprise Package you order. This list of 12-15 items for EACH Grab Bag is critical, because you will not know which items we will select to send you. That makes it just like a Christmas gift because it’s a surprise. Plus, Surrogate Santa Kevin, who personally hand-picks every item for every Grab Bag, may toss in something extra like a limited edition print, notepad, pen, bookmarks, poker deck, an issue of The Rifter®, or something else he thinks you’ll enjoy.

Autographed books. For those of you who want them (which are most people), available members of the Palladium staff, and any freelancers we can lasso at the time, are happy to autograph each and every book in your Surprise Package. This is the only way many fans across the country and overseas can ever get signed books.

Send us your brief comments. There is a special form and format to fill out for Christmas Surprise Packages, including a place where you can offer your brief comments, suggestions, greetings and salutations.

Please spread the word. The Christmas Surprise Package is only publicized by word of mouth, on Palladium’s website, and social media, so please tell everyone you know. They make astonishing gifts for every occasion. Only from PalladiumBooks.com – NOTE: TMNT books are too new to include in the Surprise Packages.

Palladium Collectibles – at Kevin’s Online Toy & Collectibles eBay Store

Palladium collectibles as well as action figures and other items from Kevin Siembieda’s personal collection are on sale!

One-of-a-kind Palladium Books negatives are always very popular items at the Palladium Open House, Gen Con, and conventions, and are catching on as rare collectibles, unique in and of themselves. Last year at Granite State Comic Con Kevin Eastman had TMNT negatives from the first comic book on display.

Before digital printing, pages of a book were laid out by hand on a board, and each page was photographed. These are the photographic negatives being sold as individual works of art and collectibles. When matted or framed on a white background they look like dynamic wood cut prints. And they are on sale right now!

CLOSING THOUGHTS

Still time to save big bucks with Surprise Packages

It’s probably too late to get a Surprise Package – signed books (if you want our autographs) at discounted prices – in time for Christmas without paying for expedited shipping, but they are still a great deal and you have until Christmas Eve to get one or a few for yourself or as upcoming birthday, anniversary or even Valentine’s Day gifts.

The Surprise Packages are also a wonderful way to try books and settings you’ve been wondering about and might like to try, as well as to replace battle worn books. I often extend the offer a couple of weeks after Christmas, but will I this year? Keep the orders coming and watch to see if the extension of the offer happens on Christmas Eve.

You have kept us busy this season with Surprise Package orders, regular orders, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness RPG Redux product orders. It’s been fun but exhausting as we worked hard into the night and through the weekends to get people their orders in time for Christmas. That included something like 150 TMNT preorder customers. We put you, our customers first, so again this year, a bunch of friends and family will be getting their Christmas gifts from me AFTER Christmas.

What has been mind-blowingly exciting is how much people are going crazy over the quality of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness Redux RPG and Transdimensional Adventures books and the G.M. Screen, Mutagen Green Dice and Kickstarter rewards. And I mean everyone – even friends and business associates who visit the office and see the products go wild over them. We can’t wait to see how people react when they hit store shelves.

Enjoy the fan comments that follow and enjoy your weekend. If you’re out doing last minute shopping, be safe and don’t stress out. Okay, I need to go wrap a few dozen presents.

Surprise Package comments from fans like you

Every year we like to post a selection of the comments we get from Surprise Package customers. It’s a nice acknowledgement and thank you to them (you know who you are) and you enjoy reading them.

D.R. in Hertfordshire, England writes: So this [Surprise Package] is an awesome deal. It was pointed out to me by a friend. TMNT & Other Strangeness was literally the first game I ever ran for my mates at school before the Turtles were even on TV over here. I also played Rifts® and a little bit of Palladium Fantasy, so finding out that Palladium Books is still a going concern and still making the games that formed me as a role-player nearly four decades ago is such a beautiful thing. Keep on keeping on.

[Welcome back to the Palladium Megaverse, D.R. We appreciate the kind words and you need to get the Redux Ninja Turtles RPG. You’ll love it. – Kevin]

C.B. in Flagstaff, Arizona, writes: My group and I just did a Christmas-themed one-shot game and all involved had a blast! FYI: All of the books I have are well loved, hardcovers are definitely appreciated. You guys are awesome, thank you for all your hard work and many hours of fun.

[Awesome, C.B. I used to run a Christmas-themed one-shot every holiday myself, and they are a blast. Keep your imagination burning bright and Merry Christmas! – Kevin]

C.K.E. in Los Angeles, California, writes: Getting back into the hobby and having an absolute blast reacquainting myself with the gonzo setting of Rifts®. Have been into it for years, but the Glitterbois got me back into it!

[Welcome back C.K.E.! I like that you’re also trying other Palladium settings. Cool, have fun. – Kevin]

J.M. in Taylorsville, Utah, writes: Thank you all for your creativity. You’re helping us all fulfill our own dreams at our tables and with our friends and family.

[The please is all ours, J.M., keep those beautiful imaginations burning bright. – Kevin]

J.A in Lake Orion, Michigan, writes: Thank you for doing the Christmas Surprise package. It’s the first time I’ve ordered one. Hope your staff has a pleasant, peaceful Christmas.

[Merry Christmas to you and yours, J.A., you’ll love the Surprise Package. – Kevin]

D.P. in Fort Wayne, Indiana, writes: Thank you for still going strong and not doing what Wizards of the Coast does: a new system every so many years and all new books at high prices. Merry Christmas.

[You are welcome, D.P., on both fronts. We’re glad to still be doing what we love for you all, and though we have had to raise our prices a bit, we try to keep them reasonable and offer more bang for your buck. Merry Christmas. – Kevin]

M.S. in Saint Louis, Missouri, writes (in part): Favorites: All of them! All I can say is, thank you for 44 and a half-years (has it really been that long? Yes it has!) of entertainment in the gaming industry … even today I go back and re-read many of the books and notice something new every time …

[Thanks for the love, M.S., and heartwarming comments. Yep, 2026 will be 45 years. I find it hard to believe too. lol. Keep your good heart and beautiful imagination burning bright. – Kevin]

E.J, in the military, writes: Keep doing what you’re doing. Thanks for the many years of fun. Merry Christmas to everybody at Palladium. Wishing you and your loved ones a great 2026.

[Right back at you E.J., may you and your loved ones know only joy and prosperity in the new year. And we’ll keep doing what we’re doing. – Kevin]

R.P. in Troy, New York, writes: Thank you for running this [Surprise Package offer], I like your game system a lot. I haven’t tried a lot of the many Rifts® settings, but overall have thoroughly enjoyed the love and hard work that goes into the main system at hand.

[Thank you R.P., we appreciate your kind words. Game on. – Kevin]

A.A. in West Valley City, Utah, writes: Palladium’s game system has been my favorite rules for 20+ years. Thank you.

[Delighted to hear it, A.A. Keep that imagination burning bright. – Kevin]

J.B. in Fishers, Indiana, writes: I hope that you are all with your loved ones this season, and that the love in your hearts keep you warm through the long, cold nights.

[Thank you, J.B., and the same to you and yours. Happy holidays. – Kevin]

C.G. in Okemos, Michigan, writes (in part): Greetings Palladium Friends, I am an avid Palladium fan and collector. I literally have every book you have published, except some of the Raw Previews and foil covers. As such I don’t really need to do a Christmas Surprise Package every year, but I usually do. Not only because it is a great deal, and the anticipation of what I will get, but mostly because I’ve been playing and loving your games since 1987 – and I want to support Palladium. And give thanks for all the years of fun and enjoyment you have provided me! Here’s to another 38 years of excellent gaming.

[We appreciate you C.G. Keep that amazing imagination of yours burning bright and Merry Christmas. Ho, ho ho. – Kevin]

CELEBRATING 35 YEARS OF RIFTS® – ONE GAME SYSTEM – EVERY GENRE – COUNTLESS WORLDS – ENDLESS ADVENTURE

BY KEVIN SIEMBIEDA

3 Weeks till Xmas – Weekly Update – Palladium Books^® – December 4, 2025

All of you crazy, wonderful, gaming maniacs have waited till the official start of the holiday season to place your orders this year. You have us working our tails off. We received so many Black Friday and Cyber-Monday orders, we worked through Thanksgiving weekend pulling and packing them, but we are loving it. And loving the Fan Comments that come with many Surprise Package orders. You can see more comments at the end of this and every Weekly Update.

Cyber-Monday and PDF sales are over, but you can still order Christmas Surprise Packages (and regular books) thru Christmas Eve and Kevin’s Ebay Store SALE for collectibles and toys runs through December 15th.

Please keep the Christmas Surprise Package and book orders pouring in. No matter how busy we get, we work diligently to make each Surprise Package special.

Note: Demand has been so sudden and so great that we are running out of certain titles across every Palladium game line, so all orders are sold on a first come, first served basis. And that’s another reason we need a long list of 12-15 items for Surprise Packages. Rifts Atlantis, Northern Gun 1 & 2, Rifts China 1 & 2, Mysteries of Magic, and Bizantium, among others are temporarily out of stock. All should be back in print January or February, 2026.

Shipping deadline for Media Mail – order this weekend to get books on the cheap in time for Christmas. You may still get the books in time when you order after December 8th, but neither we nor USPS can guarantee delivery by Christmas.

After December 8th, look at Ground Advantage (get us your orders by December 15th) and UPS to get it in time for Christmas at a reasonable shipping cost. Only two weeks till Christmas when you factor in the time needed to pick, pack, and ship in time for Christmas, so order this weekend and next week to guarantee delivery in time for the holiday. See our complete shipping outline elsewhere in this Update.

News Briefs & Updates

– Gamers are going wild over the TMNT & Other Strangeness Kickstarter rewards! Rewards have been arriving across America for the last two weeks. People are gushing about the beautiful books and other rewards. Yep, we meant it when we said we pulled out all the stops. Kickstarter rewards are in the mail to more than two-thirds of the TMNT US Backers as our shipping partners continue to pull, pack and ship! Our upper tier backers and retailers will be among the last of the initial batch to ship, but should ship over the next week or two.

– Canadian & Overseas TMNT Backers rewards should start shipping soon. If possible, we would love to see every backer around the globe get their order before Christmas. Not sure if we and our shipping partners can pull it off, but that’s the goal.

– You can still pre-order your copies of TMNT & Other Strangeness Redux RPG (collects the RPG, Truckin’ Turtles and Turtles go Hollywood adventure sourcebooks, plus bonus material); TMNT Transdimensional Adventures (collects the adventure sourcebooks Transdimensional TMNT, TMNT Guide to the Universe, and TMNT Adventures with artwork by Kevin Eastman, Peter Laird, and Jim Lawson, plus 20 pages of Eastman and Laird comic strips, and bonus material); the G.M. Screen, the Black, White & Red Editions (gorgeous), and the Mutagen Green Dice Set. All of which are anticipated to go on sale to the public at large by the end of next week.

– FUN! The newest Glitterbois Podcast from Breakfast Puppies is coming next week: The Boys and I are taping a conversation this Sunday, December 7th, but I don’t know how quickly it will go live. Sometime next week, I imagine.

– MORE FUN! Check out new chats and interviews appearing on the Palladium Books YouTube Channel all the time. Most are timeless, all are fun. Check ‘em out.

– JOIN US! For the Legion of Myth live chat with Kevin Siembieda & Jeremy Colantonio – Sunday, December 14: The topic is Palladium’s RPG design and gaming philosophy at the game table, and running Palladium RPGs. Please join the fun and silliness.

Shipping Guide – 3 weeks to Christmas – ONLY 2 weeks when you account for shipping time – order now

Whether you are buying a Surprise Package or a regular order, if you need it in time for Christmas, please order sooner than later to avoid needing to pay for express service or the package not arriving in time for Christmas. Take comfort in your gifts arriving before December 25 with these key ship-by dates. The closer you get to Christmas/Kwanzaa, the more we recommend UPS as the most reliable method of shipping.

– United States Postal Service: Media Mail – December 8th so order NOW!

– United States Postal Service (in USA): Ground Advantage – December 15th.

– United States Postal Service (in USA): Priority Mail – December 16th.

– United States Postal Service (in USA): Priority Mail EXPRESS (expensive) – December 21st.

– UPS Ground (anywhere in the contiguous USA) – December 16. Last year, UPS was astonishing in its speed and accuracy of shipping. After that date, all bets are off.

– UPS 3-Day Select – December 18th, but you will pay for expedited shipping.

– UPS 2nd Day Air – December 21st, but you will pay for expedited shipping.

– UPS Next Day Air – December 22nd (to arrive December 24, Christmas Eve) – Even though it arrives the day after it ships, Palladium needs that order submitted by Monday, December 22nd, so we can pack and ship it December 23rd to arrive Wednesday, Christmas Eve, but please don’t cut it that close or pay such a high price for expedited shipping.

– Any orders placed after these dates may arrive in time for Christmas but we cannot guarantee it AND you should assume they will NOT arrive in time for Christmas. Please spread the word and place those orders as soon as you can. Ho, ho, ho and happy holidays.

– 2025 Shipping Note: Please make sure your address is complete and correct! As always, at Palladium, we will be working overtime and doing everything we can to process orders as fast as possible to get them to you for the holidays. However, after the package leaves the Palladium warehouse, delivery is out of our hands. As we get closer to Christmas, UPS Ground and Priority Mail will be your most reliable and timely methods of shipping. Thank you for your understanding.

What is a Christmas Surprise Package?

A smile and a hug that comes in a box filled with signed game books from available Palladium staff and freelancers. It is a way for you to get physical books (and autographs if you want them) at PDF prices! $105+ worth of Palladium products for only $62 (plus shipping)! That can nab you 4-6 books, and these days one core rule book can cost you that or more.

Christmas Surprise Packages are our way of saying thank you for your support and showing you our love and appreciation. It’s a surprise because you never know exactly what you’re going to get or who will sign your books, because we pick from your Wishlist and may surprise you with stuff you are not expecting. Extra items may include other RPGs, sourcebooks, issues of the Rifter®, miniatures, prints, art books, poker deck, notepad, greeting cards, T-shirts, and other items. Some books may be slightly damaged (scuffs, scratches, dings, a bent or crunched corner, etc.) so we can send you more.

No other RPG company on the planet has an offer like this. Truly the best deal in gaming to get unique and special holiday gifts for the gamers in your life, or for yourself.

Christmas Surprise Packages are not just for Christmas. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or the Winter Solstice, or you are looking for that special gift for a birthday, anniversary, graduation, or any special occasion that falls between now and the end of the year, a Surprise Package may be the ideal way to go. You get a ton of stuff on the cheap, you can get a bunch of autographs (if you want ‘em), and you look like you spent a fortune.

This is a great way to try that game setting you’ve wondered about – After the Bomb®, Beyond the Supernatural, Chaos Earth®, Dead Reign®, Heroes Unlimited, Ninjas & Superspies, Palladium Fantasy, Nightbane®, Rifts®, RECON, Splicers®, Systems Failure, etc. — or to get something for your favorite Game Master. Or perhaps, to get your player group to consider a new game or setting.

Plus, Surrogate Santa, Kevin, who personally hand-picks every item for every Grab Bag, may toss in something extra like a limited edition print, notepad, negative, an issue of The Rifter®, or something else he thinks you’ll enjoy.

First-timers are always nervous until they see the great value in their first Surprise Package. A typical Grab Bag has $105+ worth of product and often more. Yes, more, for only $62 plus shipping. Many people order 2-3. Some order 4-6, and some maniacs order even more! It makes sense, because it is a great way to fill holes in your own collection, treat yourself, get autographs, try new games and settings, rebuild your collection, replace worn out books, and get your gaming pals gifts. Only from PalladiumBooks. Note: Search online for Palladium Surprise Package unboxing videos to get an idea of what you can expect to receive. I know the Glitterbois and Legion of Myth, among others, have such videos.

Please spread the word. The Christmas Surprise Package is only publicized by word of mouth, on Palladium’s website, and social media, so please tell everyone you know. Buy one for every gamer you know. They make astonishing gifts for every occasion. Only from PalladiumBooks.com – happy holidays.

NOTE: TMNT books are too new to include in the Surprise Packages. We hope you understand. Order soon to get in time for Christmas.
