Palladium Books® – Weekly Update – August 28, 2025

Weekly Update

CELEBRATING 35 YEARS OF RIFTS® – ONE GAME SYSTEM – EVERY GENRE – COUNTLESS WORLDS – ENDLESS ADVENTURE

BY KEVIN SIEMBIEDA

Hello, everyone. Monday is Labor Day for us here in the United States and I imagine many of you are already planning your 3 day (and maybe even 4 day) weekend. Awesome, just don’t forget about Palladium Books.

Labor Day also marks the unofficial end of summer. It’s back to school time for youngsters (sorry, kids), and those of you attending college (knowledge is power), so enjoy one of the last summer weekends, drive safe, have fun, and game on. It’s looking like cool autumn weather is coming early for us here in Michigan after a hot summer. I hope the fall and winter aren’t going to be too cold and harsh.

Kevin & Sean’s September Convention Schedule

1. Palladium is being represented at Grand Con, Grand Rapids, Michigan, this Labor Day weekend! A selection of RPGs and sourcebooks can be found at the Upkeep Games booth.

2. We’ll see some of you next week, September 4-5, at the Alliance Open House. Fort Wayne, Indiana. We’ll have TMNT & Other Strangeness RPG products on display and we are happy to sign any books you bring for us to autograph.

3. The big event! We’ll see some of you at Granite State Comic Con, September 19-21, in Manchester, New Hampshire. We’ll have TMNT & Other Strangeness RPG products on display and sale items include After the Bomb, Ninjas & Superspies, select Heroes Unlimited, Dead Reign, and Rifts books. We are always happy to sign any books you bring for us to autograph. Note: We do not know the next time both Kevin Siembieda and Sean Owen Roberson will be at a convention on the East Coast, so fans in the surrounding area should come on over. Bring books for them to sign, chat a while with Kevin and Sean at their table in Artist Alley, come to the panel talks, and have a blast.

News Briefs

UPDATE: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness RPG Redux: Our overseas manufacturer has informed us that the Kickstarter items (RPG books, GM screen, dice, exclusive miniatures, prints, playing cards, etc.) will be loaded in containers and put onto a ship by the end of September. If all goes well, we should be shipping Kickstarter rewards to our backers in November. We cannot wait to get all these awesome books, dice, and rewards into your hands.

This means we will be providing and charging Backers for shipping in September. Please note, we have made arrangements with third party shippers inside and outside the US so we can keep your shipping costs as low as possible. We do not expect tariffs to affect most of our overseas customers, though VAT and Customs fees will be applicable as normal. Note: These are beautiful, high-quality hardcover books, which means they weigh around 3 pounds (1.35 kg) each and look wonderful. The handful of people who have seen the TMNT & Other Strangeness rewards have gone nuts over them. More information and Kickstarter updates to come.

UPDATE: Yin-Sloth Expeditions (Fantasy): It’s coming along nicely. I’m working hard to make every key place truly special with either one fully fleshed out adventure or numerous adventure hooks that the Game Master can turn into adventures. That means expanding and describing places like the Dragon’s Gate Mountains, the mysterious town of Dragonedara and Dragonedra City of Dragons. The Yin-Sloth Jungles are the perfect opportunity for giving you villains, monsters, places, magic, and adventures you cannot find any place else. Plus you get to catch glimpses of past eras, forgotten history, and strange people and magic. I’m having a blast with it and you will too. Still shooting to release it this fall. Fans who are starving for new fantasy material will love this book. And there’s more coming for Palladium Fantasy in the new year.

UPDATE: Rifts® Bestiary Volume 2: This is another long-awaited book that is nearing completion. If you were a Palladium Megaverse Insider Backer, fear not, we still have your information and the special books and items you have coming to you. However, we are likely to need your current shipping address. This will be another big, 200+ page resource with updated stats and information on monsters of North America, plus some new artwork, maps, and more. We’re shooting for a 2025 release.

UPDATE: Rifts® Chaos Earth® First Responders: Sean Owen Roberson has taken the reins on this bad boy, coordinating art with Steven Cummings and doing the writing of new material and rewrites of the old. The artwork is looking great and Sean is making sure most of the gear, robots, and vehicles can be used for both Chaos Earth® and Rifts®! After all, the Republicans (NEMA forces in suspended animation), Archie Three, Titan Robotics, and the Black Market all have access to pre-Rifts technology, as well as adventurers who discover a cache of ancient pre-Rifts tech from time to time. Awesome, right? Probably an early 2026 release.

AND More! Palladium may have an exciting announcement before the end of this year, and expect some surprise releases in 2026.

UPDATE: Rifts® Phase World® Sourcebooks coming from Star Anvil in 2026: Palladium applauds new licensing partner, Star Anvil, on their decision to delay the Kickstarter launch of official sourcebooks for Phase World and The Three Galaxies using the Savage Worlds rules, until 2026. The decision is based on making these books everything Palladium and Savage Worlds fans expect them to be. They’ll be exploring new ground, offering new weapons, gears, villains, settings, adventures, and so much more within theThree Galaxies™. Gear, characters, and adventures are easily adapted to the Palladium Books game system. Follow this project now so you don’t miss out when it launches in 2026.

Palladium Collectibles – at Kevin’s Online Toy & Collectibles eBay Store

Palladium collectibles as well as action figures and other items from Kevin Siembieda’s personal collection are on sale!

One-of-a-kind Palladium Books negatives are always very popular items at the Palladium Open House, Gen Con, and conventions, and are catching on as rare collectibles, unique in and of themselves. Last year at Granite State Comic Con Kevin Eastman had TMNT negatives from the first comic book on display.

Before digital printing, pages of a book were laid out by hand on a board, and each page was photographed. These are the photographic negatives being sold as individual works of art and collectibles. When matted or framed on a white background they look like dynamic wood cut prints. And they are on sale right now!

CLOSING THOUGHTS

September will be Rifts Month

The entire month of September will be Rifts Month. You’ll see how and why starting next week. Keep your eyes peeled for Weekly Updates and special email announcements and Facebook notices. You won’t want to miss any of it!

It’s the last long weekend of summer, so I won’t keep you any longer. Enjoy whatever you have planned for the weekend, relax, and drink in the beautiful weather most of our nation seems about to experience.

We have plans to go to the Michigan Renaissance Festival and maybe a movie, but other than that, I hope to get some quality writing and artwork done. Keep those imaginations burning bright.

CELEBRATING 35 YEARS OF RIFTS® – ONE GAME SYSTEM – EVERY GENRE – COUNTLESS WORLDS – ENDLESS ADVENTURE

BY KEVIN SIEMBIEDA

Horror Sale & News – Palladium Books® – Weekly Update – August 21, 2025

Don’t miss the Big Scary Horror Sale featuring Dead Reign and other horror RPGs and sourcebooks. In my effort to understand the rare phenomenon of why Dead Reign is growing in popularity as word of mouth spreads, I’ve come to a couple of conclusions. In addition to the popularity of the horror genre in film and television, apparently Palladium’s life force-devouring zombies and explanation of how our zombies function is, as one fan put it, “mind blowing” and “I’ve never seen anything like them. They’re fascinating.” The other seems to be the depth and presentation of the post apocalyptic world and the people in it. For other gamers, the urban fantasy of Nightbane may be more to your taste, or the modern horror of Beyond the Supernatural. Check out Dead Reign and the others on sale and enjoy the substantial savings. All are available as physical books and as PDF books. The sale ends next week so time is running out.

COMING! Yin-Sloth Expeditions

The Palladium crew and I have been dealing with the finalization of logistics for completing and shipping the TMNT & Other Strangeness Redux books and Kickstarter rewards, as well as other matters since our return from Gen Con. Ah, but I’m back to work on the big adventure sourcebook that is Yin-Sloth Expeditions. This book reminds me of Old Ones, because each different location is showcased with a fun, fleshed-out adventure, and corresponding maps, plus additional adventure ideas, new memorable villains, lost species (like Sea Giants), and other cool elements. Fans starving for new fantasy material will love this book. And there’s more coming for Palladium Fantasy in the new year. Coming this fall.

CLOSING THOUGHTS

Dead Reign® & the joy of the scare

Dead Reign is a wonderful aberration. One of those rare RPG settings that grows in popularity over time. We’ve seen something similar with Beyond the Supernatural and Nightbane too, and BTS should surge when we unveil new sourcebooks next year. I also have ideas for a couple of new Dead Reign adventure sourcebooks.

I get a kick out of the fact that people love the uniquely Palladium Books zombies. Creatures that make sense and fit beautifully into the Palladium Megaversal mythology. The presentation feels like an entertaining study of zombies and their behavior in the wild. So fun. I can’t take all the credit for that as I built upon ideas from Josh Hilden and Joshua Sanford, and in later books from text and ideas by Taylor White. I thought his idea to include short descriptions and stats for 22 disasters was pure genius. And Nick Bradshaw and Amy Ashbaugh’s art have inspired some of the characters and villains.

I enjoy seeing and hearing about how much gamers enjoy the many variant zombies, the world setting, the overall tone and mood of the setting, Brad Ashley’s voice and his survival and zombie fighting tips, the sense of camaraderie among survivors, non-zombie villains, anti-heroes (often plagued by madness), and the many possibilities for adventure. As much as I like the different O.C.C.s, my personal favorite – and I see many other Game Masters who feel the same way – is the Survivor O.C.C./Ordinary People. I love to run Dead Reign and Beyond the Supernatural games with so-called “ordinary people.” Of course, the fact they fight zombies and take a stand against evil makes them more than ordinary and quite heroic.

In short, though there is no magic or psychic abilities in Dead Reign, there is something magical about that RPG world and the characters. I love it.

The other thing I love, unrelated to Dead Reign or horror, is that people are continuing to discover and deeply enjoy the Official History of Palladium Books on the Palladium YouTube channel. We frequently get positive feedback about this conversational interview series. J-M DeFoggi and I make a great team, in part, because we both love RPGs and Palladium Books so much. I enjoy sharing Palladium’s history and the thought process behind our many different game lines. I love talking about the creative process, writing, GMing, the amazing people behind our games such as Erick Wujcik, Kevin Eastman, Peter Laird, Julius Rosenstein, Matthew Balent, Kevin Long, Keith Parkinson, Ramon Perez, Sean Owen Roberson, Matthew Clements, and many others.

As the role-playing game industry continues to spread into the mainstream of pop culture, I’m seeing games become collector’s items and new generations of gamers clamoring to learn more about the beginnings of the RPG industry and the people who gave it birth. Sadly, many RPG designers have passed away and their hopes, dreams, and creative processes are lost to posterity. As a result, I’m happy to share my stories and adventures in RPG design while I still can. I find it frustrating and sad when I hear stories about past game companies and creators that I know are incorrect, negative, or complete baloney. I am honored to have the opportunity to talk about my contributions to gaming and the amazing human beings I’ve had the pleasure to work with. Moreover, I hope my recollections and stories inspire new generations to follow their dreams and create new RPG worlds of wonder and thrilling game experiences.

That’s about it for this Update. Make sure you snag some books or PDFs from our Big Scary Horror Sale before it’s over. Never be afraid to try new games and explore new ideas. Always be curious and seek to expand your imagination. Boldly go into realms of adventure in every medium and take your fellow gamers along for the ride. The true treasures in life are the people and experiences that bring you joy. And to paraphrase some words of wisdom from the final episode of Resident Alien, “We humans connect and bond through simple acts of kindness.” So true.

So be kind. Be kind to your friends, your family, yourself, and complete strangers. You’ll discover even the tiniest act of kindness makes a profound difference to them and to you.

Weekly Update

CELEBRATING 35 YEARS OF RIFTS® – ONE GAME SYSTEM – EVERY GENRE – COUNTLESS WORLDS – ENDLESS ADVENTURE

BY KEVIN SIEMBIEDA

Horror Sale & News – Palladium Books® – Weekly Update – August 14, 2025

The big news this Weekly Update is Palladium’s Big Scary Horror Sale offering 30-50% discounts on Dead Reign, Nightbane, and most of our horror titles as well as select other products. That’s a sale of physical books and PDFs available directly from Palladium. See details below.

Otherwise, we are crazy busy plotting, planning, and working on a number of books and other projects. Not to mention the final manufacturing and shipping of the miniatures and a few other rewards for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness Redux RPG. We anticipate getting backers their individual shipping cost and charging for shipping around the end of September or mid-October, and shipping worldwide sometime after that. When we have firm numbers and ship dates, we’ll let you know.

Everyone – including hundreds of fans and backers at Gen Con and the folks at Nickelodeon – who sees the advance copies of the TMNT & Other Strangeness books and Kickstarter rewards are over the moon with joy and love what they see. Sean and I cannot wait to get these into your hands.

The Rifts® 35 Year Celebration will continue. In fact, we intend to make the entire month of September “Rifts Month,” but Palladium has many other popular game lines. Gen Con reminded us of just how popular the Dead Reign RPG (the Zombie Apocalypse) and sourcebooks are when they were our third best selling game line at the event! Nightbane was up there too.

New! Palladium’s Big Scary Horror Sale – 30-50% savings while supplies last

As Gen Con sales illustrated, Dead Reign (the Zombie Apocalypse Palladium style) is one of our most popular game settings and seems to be growing in popularity. It may be one of the best Zombie RPGs on the market. Though the setting is familiar, the zombies and how they function are truly unique and fit within the Megaverse. Which means you can drop them into any other Palladium RPG setting from Fantasy to Heroes Unlimited to Rifts.

Palladium zombies hunt the living to devour their P.P.E./life energy. We also explain and define the zombie moan, why they converge in massive groups, how they go into hibernation when their food source is not plentiful or they become trapped, as well as offer many different types of zombies that all make sense. Plus fun player characters, ordinary people, random search and discovery tables, tips for surviving the Zombie Apocalypse, and more. Dead Reign sourcebooks provide new zombies, other bad guys and dangers, more tables, more settings, adventure ideas, and scary fun. Nightbane (Urban Fantasy) and Beyond the Supernatural (modern horror) remain two fan favorite settings as well. So you can plan for your Halloween RPG games and winter campaigns, we thought we’d put our horror game lines and select other horror-based titles on sale for you right now.

Physical books and PDFs are on sale at www.PalladiumBooks.com, as well as select horror PDFs sold on DriveThruRPG. Start planning your autumn, winter, and Halloween horror campaigns now while you can snap up the RPGs and sourcebooks on sale. Available while supplies last.

All Horror PDF books on sale at the Palladium Website and DriveThruRPG.com

– All Beyond the Supernatural PDF titles – 25% discount

– All Dead Reign® PDF titles – 25% discount

– All Nightbane® PDF titles – 25% discount

– Plus a few other select titles like Wormwood – 25% off.

NOTE: Horror PDFs that are part of a book and a PDF bundle are 50% off.

SALE!

Horror Sale and stuff

Gen Con was excellent but exhausting. I think we’re all only getting back up to speed this week and catching up with correspondence. We’re trying to keep all the projects moving forward, with an emphasis on delivering the TMNT & Other Strangeness Kickstarter rewards. Everything looks so darn good. Cannot wait to put them in your hands.

Working on other books and projects, assigning covers, and doing editing, rewrites, etc. We want to close out the year with a bang.

We are pleased to see that Dead Reign sales have not only remained strong, but continue to find a growing audience. That’s awesome! I think word of mouth and the popularity of zombie stories in cinema and on TV/streaming help. It is a great game with many fun and unique features for playing the Zombie Apocalypse. Dead Reign, Palladium Fantasy and Beyond the Supernatural are my three go-to settings when I run gaming events or something off the cuff. If you haven’t checked out Dead Reign, I recommend you do so. And take advantage of Palladium’s Big Scary Horror Sale to get big savings – 30-50% off – over the next week or two.

That’s it for now. More to come so continue to skim these updates for the latest news and sales, and keep your imaginations burning bright.

Weekly Update

CELEBRATING 35 YEARS OF RIFTS® – ONE GAME SYSTEM – EVERY GENRE – COUNTLESS WORLDS – ENDLESS ADVENTURE

BY KEVIN SIEMBIEDA

News & Fun – Palladium Books® – Weekly Update – August 8, 2025

The Rifts® 35 Year Celebration Continues

The big Rifts Sale at Gen Con and the one previously offered through the Palladium online store is just the start of the celebration. You’ll have to wait and see what comes next, but more fun offers and surprises will continue throughout the year. In fact, we may make the entire month of September Rifts Month. Keep checking these Updates to learn more and spread the word.

Palladium Books on YouTube

NEW every two weeks – The Official History of Palladium Books videos on the Palladium Books YouTube channel

A new episode goes live every other week and the current themes are episodes about Erick Wujcik and the creation of Rifts®. Gamers are loving them all whether they are Palladium fans or just enjoy RPG history. I hope you find hearing about the creation process behind the scenes and learning more about the people behind the games you love to be entertaining and inspiring.

You can find a whole bunch of episodes and interviews on the Palladium Books YouTube channel. People are still discovering these even exist, so please spread the word. They are so much fun and dispel crazy rumors and false statements about Palladium’s history. Also see the fun chats with Legion of Myth and great podcasts with the Glitterbois. Oh, and Through Gamer Goggles as well. Hey Podcasters and YouTubers, we are happy to consider appearances on your shows too. Please reach out via the Help Desk. If you don’t hear back from us in a month, reach out again, because maybe your first inquiry got missed. We are juggling so much. Thanks.

COMING! Yin-Sloth Expeditions

With Gen Con and prep for it, I’m only now getting back to work on this big adventure sourcebook with 8 or so fully fleshed out adventures, 30 maps of notable locations and dungeons, new menaces, and other cool stuff. Before Gen Con I had finished the brand new Orcish Empire adventure. Looking forward to wrapping this book up and sending it to the printer.

Gen Con Report 2025

A Smash Hit – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness RPG Redux Editions

Though we could not sell them – we showcased the actual printed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness RPG Redux books, Game Master Shield, and Mutagen Green Dice for gamers and our Kickstarter backers to handle and review. The Verdict: Gamers and TMNT fans went wild seeing that the updated and remastered TMNT & Other Strangeness RPG and sourcebooks are coming back in print later this year as deluxe, color, hardcover books with tons of extra material. And that also goes for the Black, White, and Red Editions, Game Master Shield and dice. There was so much excitement at seeing that the books, game screen and dice were made.

We spoke to numerous Kickstarter backers who were pleased to see the books and rewards that will be coming to them later this year. All were very kind and understanding about the time it has taken to deliver the finished goods. Thank you, all.

Of course, there were hundreds of gamers and TMNT fans who were thrilled to learn about the Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness RPG, Transdimensional Adventures sourcebook, G.M. Screen, and Mutagen Green Dice for the first time. And happy that it would hit stores in time for Christmas 2025. We would have sold hundreds of each of them had they been available for sale. Catalyst was our neighbor in the exhibitor’s area and they sold out the 650 copies of their new BattleTech release. We’re so glad for them and disappointed for ourselves that the TMNT Redux products were not yet available. Grrrrr.

Gen Con – Rifts® 35th Anniversary Sale was a big hit too

Rifts® books and art prints were flying off of the shelves. Much like our recent online Rifts sale that you loved, Rifts fans were thrilled with the sale. We also met a number of gamers new to Rifts who wanted to give Rifts a try because they had heard so many fun things about it. Awesome. Note: More Rifts 35th anniversary fun is coming your way in the months ahead so continue to watch these Weekly Updates for announcements. Heck, we may turn September into Rifts Month. Bwahahaha. Um … I mean, stay tuned.

The other big sellers at Gen Con were Palladium Fantasy, After the Bomb®, Heroes Unlimited and the one that surprised me most was Dead Reign® (zombies). Don’t get me wrong, Dead Reign is a great setting and very fun game with unique, Palladium-style zombies. Personally, I love it. It’s one of my favorite games to run (along with Palladium Fantasy and Beyond the Supernatural), but its enduring, and even growing, popularity continues to delight and surprise me. If you haven’t done so, check out the RPG and its P.P.E. devouring zombies. Hmm, maybe it’s time for a Dead Reign/horror sale.

Love for the Two New Rifts Book Covers

The new cover on Rifts Black Market and new cover and title for Rifts Psi-Ops: Psychic War both met with resounding approval. We’re also seeing that in online sales and comments from fans and friends.

Gen Con Panel Talks

Somehow both panel talks got rescheduled for 10:00 AM, but that didn’t stop a couple dozen folks attending each. Both went very well and people had fun. They were very happy to hear about new books coming in the months ahead: Yin-Sloth Expeditions (fantasy), Rifts Bestiary Volume 2, Rifts Chaos Earth: First Responders, among other things in the works.

A lot of folks were not aware of the new Palladium website and online store with special RPG bundles, the ability to order PDF books directly from Palladium, wish lists and collection tracker, and a whole bunch of new things. We’re still making improvements on the back end to speed things up, but I think we have worked out most of the bugs, so take a look.

Gen Con Fun

On a more personal level, there were many great moments with fans and friends.

Jim Zub is one of my favorite comic book writers and his booth was down the same aisle as Palladium Books. His work on Titan Comics’ Conan the Barbarian is fantastic. It’s as if he’s directly channeling Robert E. Howard. When we met it was a ridiculous lovefest. “Jim, I love your work. It’s some of the best in comics. I think you’re my favorite comic book author,” I said. Then he saw my name badge. “Kevin Siembieda! Wow! I’m having a fan boy moment. I love your RPG work. The Ninja Turtles. Rifts,” said Jim as we both continued to heap praise upon each other. Very fun and one of the highlights of Gen Con 2025 for me.

Another highlight was Jordan Weisman stopping by the Palladium booth to say hello and catch up. I love and respect Jordan Weisman. He was my first true friend in the RPG industry during the 1980s. He’s a genius at game design and a visionary who doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. It filled me with great joy to see him, introduce him to Sean (a huge BattleTech fan), and have a pleasant conversation.

Michael Stackpole. Everyone will tell you Mike is a great guy, because it’s true. Since we were next to the Catalyst booth, he stopped by Palladium to chat a few times which was very nice. It’s always a pleasure chatting with Mike.

Michael Pondsmith of R. Talsorian Games (Cyberpunk) swung by to say hello as well. Mike and I go waaaay back. We only kidded around for a few minutes at Gen Con, but I got to spend an hour with him at the GAMA Trade Show in January.

Frank Uchmanowicz and Tim Brown of Studio 2 are always fun. Frank is another long-time gaming buddy who’s a joy to hang out with and talk about everything from business and publishing to movies and family. We saw a lot of each other and he kindly treated me and the Palladium crew to dinner at our favorite restaurant. I look forward to when he and his wife come to visit in October.

Jodie and Clint Black are a cool power couple and creative sweethearts. They both work at Pinnacle Entertainment Group (Savage Worlds). Simon Lucas from PEG also popped over. All good people.

My pals J-M DeFoggi (the Official History of Palladium Books on the Palladium YouTube Channel) and his friend and business partner Molly Osmus dropped by the booth and went to dinner with us one night. I didn’t get the chance to hang with them as much as I would have liked, but that’s Gen Con – so many people to see and stuff to do.

Shawn and Lisa Hall are two of my dearest friends. They came to have some fun and help out at the Palladium booth, and boy did they help. They were incredible during booth set up and tear down, as well as being wonderful friends and companions.

James, Diane, and Connor Brown are another one of my favorite families. Each one an awesome human being I’m proud to call my friend. We finally enjoyed dinner and an evening of delightful conversation. Connor is growing up to be a fine young man and I swear he’s a foot taller than last year!

Glen Evans and Katie Gorski are two more friends and Palladium helpers. Glen is one of Palladium’s freelance writers (Bizantium) and Game Masters running events that people love. Katie is just one of the nicest and kindest people on the planet.

Matthew Balent and his son Corvus were part of our entourage this year. Matthew is my pal from the Detroit Gaming Center days and the creative force behind the Palladium Weapon Series (Weapons & Armour, etc.) and Valley of the Pharaohs as well as contributing to other Palladium products in the 1980s like Monsters & Animals. (Note: Matt’s super-expanded 40th anniversary Valley of the Pharaohs edition softcover and hardcover RPG are back in stock in the Palladium online store). It was fun hanging out with my old friend as well as Corvus, another promising young man. I look forward to spending a whole weekend with Matt and his daughter at PAGE (the Philadelphia Area Game Expo) in January 2026.

My dear friend and writer Mark Oberle (Nightbane sourcebooks) and my long-time pal Mike Leonard (artist and Game Master) were back to hang and help at the Palladium booth. This was Mark’s first time in a long while attending Gen Con as a fan. Mark is one of my favorite people in the world, so I’m glad he hung out at the booth a lot and helped talking with fans, signing books, and tearing down the booth. And it was fun hanging out with fan-friend John Wooten who we met in person at the last Palladium Open House, another great guy.

Stephen Murenzi was our new addition to Palladium helpers. This was also his first time at a convention. He took a thousand photos and some video for us and was a huge help on many fronts including set up and tear down. He was fantastic at memorializing Gen Con 2025 for us. We were glad to have him with us and invited him to join us next year. He enjoyed Gen Con and fit in with the rest of us crazy Palladiumites so maybe he’ll be back.

Doing Business at Gen Con. In addition to selling product and meeting fans and industry friends and associates, Gen Con is great for networking with artists, printers, and other business people. Sean and I met with numerous reps from various printing companies in the US, China, Lithuania, and Turkey. We’ll be soliciting quotes for our future consideration on various projects. We did a series of fun interviews with Matt Lempki from Through Gamer Goggles on Wednesday afternoon before Gen Con officially started, so keep an eye out for them. We also spoke with Matthew Young from Alliance, Martyn from Backerkit, Neal Hoffman from FanRoll (sorry, Neal, we got so caught up in things we forgot to come by your darn booth to discuss a number of things. I’ll email you and see you at the Alliance Open House), podcasters, artists, and other folks.

The World’s Greatest Fans! Meeting and chatting with wonderful, kind, sweet, and caring fans is always the main highlight for me. I’ve said it a million times: Palladium Fans are the greatest in the world. Your support, kind words and love are precious to us and we love you right back. It is always a joy to meet and chat with you all, sign books and exchange ideas. Our heartfelt thanks to those of you who stopped by the booth at Gen Con and came to our panel talks. And a special thank you and call out to Mike X and company (Alisa, Allen, Jake, Jake, and Peter – sorry if I missed naming one of you). These Real Gamers are generous and fun people. Our spending an evening with them is becoming a fun Gen Con tradition.

I’m sorry if I did not mention you by name. I’m sure I have forgotten to mention people by name who are special to us. No offense intended, but we meet and chat with a lot of folks, and I’m still worn out. It was great seeing all of you and we’ll be back to Gen Con next year. We already reserved our booth.

We’ll see more of you at the Alliance Open House and Granite State Comic Con in September.

CLOSING THOUGHTS

Game on

I’ve already talked plenty about Gen Con and it’s going on 9 PM Thursday night as I write this, so this Closing Thoughts is a short one.

Orders that came in over Gen Con have all been shipped and new orders are shipping out as fast as we get them, so keep ‘em coming.

Gamers are enjoying the new Rifts Black Market and Rifts Psi-Ops: Psychic War covers which is rewarding for us and the artists.

I’m happy to see so many people loving RPGs and anxiously waiting for new products to ship from Palladium Books. Don’t worry, it’s coming and they’re awesome.

I need to go home and collapse on my couch now. Game on.
