Sean, Daniel, and I were in meetings all yesterday morning and into early afternoon plotting and planning upcoming releases and future products. When Sean suggested we do something special with the very first RPG published by Palladium Books – The Mechanoid Trilogy – I immediately agreed.


This will be much more than a deluxe hardcover with a new cover. It will include the Rifts Mechanoid® Sourcebook, The Mechanoid Invasion® Trilogy, and the long lost 1985, 148 page Mechanoid® RPG, which contained 70+ pages of new source material – weapons, vehicles, gear, adventures, and more – created specifically for the Mechanoid Invasion portion of the trilogy, along with new 1985 artwork.


Everything will be remastered, typeset, and curated in the same spirit as the Cyberworks Collection by Sean Owen Roberson.

If you have been meaning to visit the Worlds of Palladium exhibit at the Detroit Historical Museum, don’t wait much longer. The exhibit is entering its final weeks and closes September 13th.


Worlds of Palladium celebrates Palladium Books, Detroit’s role-playing game history, and the creators and fans who helped tabletop gaming grow from a niche hobby into the worldwide phenomenon it is today. Artwork, history, and pieces from Palladium’s past help tell the story of more than four decades of imagination and adventure.

If you are within driving distance of Detroit and have been thinking about visiting, this is your last chance.

Granite State Comic Con is Almost Here!

It is the unofficial Ninja Turtles Convention because Kevin Eastman is a frequent guest and so are many of the Mirage Studios and IDW artists. Where else are you gonna meet Simon Bisley, Lawson, Lavigne, Berger, Talbot, Dooney, Doyle, Farley, Pe, Delgado, Williams II, Bishop, the Escorza Brothers, Rooth, Smith, Waltz, and dozens of other Ninja Turtles, comic book, and Hollywood icons like Lou Diamond Phillips, Khary Payton, voice actor James Saito (Shredder), and more.


And this year, you also get to meet the Palladium Crew: Me (Kevin Siembieda), Daniel Lansdown, and Caleb Nelson.


We’ll be in the game room connected to Artists Alley with a slew of TMNT & Other Strangeness books and After the Bomb books to get signed by us, Eastman and the many other contributing artists at the convention.

Philadelphia Area Gaming Expo (PAGE)

January 14-17, 2027


This is another fun and rapidly growing convention. A must for gamers in the northeastern US, especially old school gamers!


Last year it had nearly 100 guests – many are legends in the role-playing game industry. Including little ol’ me, Kevin Siembieda, Matthew Balent, Matt Forbeck, Frank Mentzer, Zeb Cook, Ed Stark, Jeff Dee, Darlene, Harold Johnson, Professor Dungeon Master, Kelsey Dionne (Shadow Dark), Chris Arneson, and dozens more.


I will be back as a guest, and I’m in two panel talks with J-M DeFoggi. I believe Jim Zub (writer of Conan for Titan Comics) is one of the new guests.

Closing Thoughts – Be The Light While Having Fun


This week has been full of tears and laughter about the wonderful life of Dolly Parton, music superstar, who passed away last week.


Dolly should be an inspiration to all of us. Especially to us fellow creators and entertainers. She followed the beat of her own drummer, remained true to herself, and created music and entertainment that instilled people with decades of love, joy, and light. A legacy of kindness and inspiration that will continue for generations.


Dolly Parton is proof that we can all be the light and make a difference in the world if we try. You don’t have to be rich or famous to make a difference either. It’s all about being the light to the best of your ability for those around you. To be a source and catalyst for joy, kindness, and good clean fun.


Sean and I try to infuse every game, every crowdfunder, every interview, and every fan encounter with our genuine passion, gratefulness, love of RPGs, and wow factor that will excite, inspire, and bring you – our wonderful fans and supporters – endless hours of adventure, joy, and ideas for more fun. RPGs make lasting memories we cherish forever.
