Summer’s End – Weekly Update – Sept 24, 2026

CELEBRATING 45 YEARS OF RPG FUN

A LEGACY OF INNOVATION – ONE GAME SYSTEM – ENDLESS ADVENTURE

By Kevin Siembieda and Daniel Lansdown

We’re back from Granite State Comic Con in Manchester, New Hampshire, and what a fantastic three days it was. Granite State has quickly become one of our favorite conventions, especially with its incredible gathering of Ninja Turtles creators, artists, writers, collectors, and fans.

Getting to spend the weekend surrounded by old friends like Kevin Eastman, Jim Lawson, Steve Lavigne, Eric Talbot, Michael Dooney, Freddie E. Williams II, Ciro Nieli, and so many other talented creators was something special. Even better was getting to meet so many of you.

We signed books, talked Palladium, swapped stories, reminisced about the early days of the Ninja Turtles, talked Rifts®, gaming, comics, and the future, and saw everything from well-loved and worn original Palladium books to beautiful new TMNT & Other Strangeness Redux Editions brought to the show to be signed.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, bought books, brought us something to sign, shared their story, or simply came over to say hello. You helped make Granite State Comic Con a weekend we won’t soon forget.

And while Granite State may be behind us, our End of Summer Super-Sale is still going strong!

Rifts® Glitter Boy Codex – Launching October 20!

Tuesday, October 20, 2026.

That’s when the Rifts® Glitter Boy Codex crowdfunder goes LIVE on BackerKit.

You won’t want to wait until then though, you can get $30 worth of extra goodies with a $5 reservation on the Pre-Launch Page before we go live!

And as we get closer to launch, the Pre-Launch Page is going to continue revealing more artwork, more lore, more Glitter Boy variants, and surprises.

The Rifts® Glitter Boy Codex is a newly written and illustrated sourcebook devoted to one of the most iconic characters in Rifts® – the Glitter Boy pilot and their legendary chromium power armor the USA-G10.

Expect Glitter Boy suit modifications, new and variant weapons, new gear, adventure ideas, never-before-revealed Glitter Boy history, famous Glitter Boy groups, notorious individuals, powerful new artwork, and plenty of ways for players and Game Masters to make these legendary war machines their own.

You’ll be able to choose between the Glitter Boy Codex Softcover, featuring classic black-and-white interior artwork by Steven Cummings, and the full-color Glitter Boy Codex Hardcover, making it the landmark first full-color Rifts® sourcebook. Artwork by Steven Cummings with colors by Michael Majestic.

And there is much more.

We’re working on the customizable Rifts® Game Master Screen, custom dice sets, Rifts playmats, a new metal collector coin, Glitter Boy prints, the return of the fan-favorite full-color Rifts® Poker Deck on upgraded linen card stock, and other surprises that we are not ready to reveal just yet.

If you haven’t joined the Pre-Launch Page yet, now is the time. A $5 Pre-Launch Reservation unlocks a special $30 Rifts Surprise Bundle when you back the campaign at launch. Each Surprise Bundle will be hand-curated by the Palladium team and be sure to delight any Rifts fan.

Naturally, the Rifts® Glitter Boy Codex will be a big topic of conversation as well as the big reveal, along with a fun dive into Palladium’s running theme about human augmentation and Transhumanism, in Rifts and our many other games, plus the exciting crowdfunder reveal.

Those of you who have watched these before know things can go just about anywhere, but are always fun.

Tune in and join the conversation.

Philadelphia Area Gaming Expo (PAGE)

will be here before you know it – January 14-17, 2027

This is another fun and rapidly growing convention. A must for gamers in the northeastern U.S., especially old school gamers!

Last year it had nearly 100 guests – many of them legends in the role-playing game industry. Including little ol’ me, Kevin Siembieda, Matthew Balent, Matt Forbeck, Frank Mentzer, Zeb Cook, Ed Stark, Jeff Dee, Darlene, Harold Johnson, Professor Dungeon Master, Kelsey Dionne (Shadowdark), Chris Arneson, and dozens more.

I will be back as a guest, and I’m scheduled for two panel talks with J-M DeFoggi. I believe Jim Zub, writer of Conan for Titan Comics, is one of the new guests this year. The Saturday Night auction is amazing too.

AVAILABLE NOW! A new fun online Chat. Check out the September 11, Friday Night Live on the Philadelphia Area Game Expo website/YouTube Channel. Kevin did a fun livestream on the show with Ron Meischler, Phil Wert, Jennifer Cash the Blind Bard, and fellow guest Rob Aldermann at Pulp Hummock Press (his Overlords of Steel RPG crowdfunder, it looks very interesting).  We had a blast talking about a lot of different subjects. Check it out below!

Closing Thoughts – What a Weekend … and Bring on October!

Granite State Comic Con was another great reminder of something that is often forgotten. Especially when you spend most of your days working behind a desk, packing orders, editing books, answering emails, and trying to keep your publishing company moving forward:

We Inspire – We create memories – We bring people together

This is all about the people, community, and fun. This past weekend we got to see many old friends, make new ones, hear stories from Palladium veterans and Ninja Turtles fans, sign books that have clearly been loved for decades, laugh a lot, talk about the good-ol-days, and get excited about what’s to come.

For me, Daniel, there is something surreal about getting to hear so many fan stories that are so similar to my own. But now on the other side of the booth table, seeing just how much these games, books, characters, and creators mean to people. From inspiring fellow artists I’ve grown to admire like Freddie E. Williams II or Ciro Nieli, to bringing families together over generations.

These interactions and warm moments make Granite State Comic Con special and keeps us excited about our work when we get back at the Palladium offices. September has been one heck of an adventure for us …

Now bring on October!

October happens to be one of our favorite months for both me, Daniel, and Kevin Siembieda. Cooler weather. Changing leaves. Apple cider mills. Halloween. Monsters. Horror movies. Late-night gaming. Imagination running a little wilder than usual. And Palladium goodness all around. This October is going to be even more exciting than most.

So thanks for coming along for the ride. But this ain’t no cozy little hayride, this is raw excitement, a thrill-a-minute, nail biting kind of Thrill-ride. We have the End of Summer Super-Sale wrapping up over the weekend (it ends next Wednesday, September 30th), and the Rifts® Glitter Boy Codex crowdfunder launching October 20th. Get previews and new reveals for it every week when you sign up to the GB Codex Pre-Launch Page! Not to mention the big crowdfunder reveal on Legion of Myth this Sunday. (It makes me so happy and I think most of you will love it too.I can’t wait to share it with you. – Kevin).

Our thanks to everyone who made Granite State Comic Con such a memorable weekend for us, and thanks, as always, for your enthusiasm, fandom, and support.

(I’d like to add my special thanks to Peter Porcaro, Mike X, Michelle, Jeff “Mr. Hyperborea,” the couple in the elevator, and all the fans who stopped by the Palladium Books booth. It was a pleasure chatting with you and signing your books. Also to Kevin Eastman, Freddie E.Williams II, Ciro Nieli, Lois Antonio Delgado, Jim Lawson, Steve Lavigne, Mateus Santolouco, Camillo Di Pietrantonio, Rob Denner, Chris Vance, Rain, Jeff Whitman, Brian Young, Big Al, and last, but most certainly not least, Doug Shute for making me and the crew feel special, important, and welcomed. Thank you. I love you all. Game on. – Kevin)
