| | | – Granite State Comic Con was fun. What excited us most was being able to show off the TMNT & Other Strangeness RPG Redux books to the multitude of Ninja Turtles fans who attend this event. Everyone loved the full-color RPG books as well as the Black White & Red editions, the GM screen, and Mutagen Green Dice. Several Turtles fans told us they don’t play RPGs but were going to buy them to add them to their collection. They were blown away by the beautiful full-color artwork, TMNT comic strips, and tribute art all created exclusively for these RPG books. A lot of people took pre-order flyers resulting in a bunch of pre-orders being placed this week. Awesome. |
|
| | The 14 hour drive up and back was scenic and the weather sunny, cool, and perfect. We enjoyed chatting with TMNT artist friends like Jim Lawson, Steve Lavigne, Eric Talbot, Fero Pe, Luis Delgado, and other pals like Nick Kay, Peter Porcaro, Brandon Loizides, Doug Shute, etc. Of course, we also made a few new friends and acquaintances, including a few talented artists and writers who may be getting added to our roster of freelance talent. |
|
| | – Palladium’s Style Guide and RPG Writing Template now available. This is exactly what every aspiring writer who hopes to do work for Palladium needs to read and adhere to in order to get their work seen and considered for publication. Read Sean Roberson’s Closing Thoughts for more details. |

| | | Please help me and Sean save lives via BRIC |
|
| We know finances are tight for many of you during these uncertain times, but this is your chance to make a genuine difference in the world, protect families, and save lives. All proceeds go to the charity. Even a $5 or $10 donation helps. In fact, if we could get a bunch of Palladium’s thousands of fans and customers to pledge as little as $5 or $10 it would make a profound difference. If you can afford it, please do so. This is your chance to make a real difference for people who are largely forgotten by the outside world. It’s not often that you know every penny goes to the people in need like this one.
Sean and I support and endorse this charity because we know the organizers and know that our efforts make a direct and immediate difference in the lives of the children and families of the BRIC compound. Our efforts have helped this compound in the African Congo to build walls and schools to fend off Warlord rebel forces and slavers. The BRIC compound has become a safe haven for local families. A haven that provides food and shelter as needed, and a school to educate children and teach teens and young adults a trade so they can become self-sufficient. These life-sustaining improvements could not happen without your prayers and financial assistance since 2022, but our crusade to save and improve the lives of the people in the region is far from complete.
The Democratic Republic of Congo is currently facing one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises. People are displaced, starving, and homeless, making safe havens like BRIC necessary for survival. Please join me (Kevin Siembieda) and Sean Owen Roberson by helping in any way you can. Your donations, small or large, will save lives.
The link to the current webpage is right here. Gamers unite and help if you can. Thank you. – Kevin Siembieda & Sean Owen Roberson |

| | | Palladium Collectibles – at Kevin’s Online Toy & Collectibles eBay Store |
|
| Palladium collectibles as well as action figures and other items from Kevin Siembieda’s personal collection are on sale!
One-of-a-kind Palladium Books negatives are always very popular items at the Palladium Open House, Gen Con, and conventions, and are catching on as rare collectibles, unique in and of themselves. Last year at Granite State Comic Con Kevin Eastman had TMNT negatives from the first comic book on display.
Before digital printing, pages of a book were laid out by hand on a board, and each page was photographed. These are the photographic negatives being sold as individual works of art and collectibles. When matted or framed on a white background they look like dynamic wood cut prints. And they are on sale right now! |

| | | CLOSING THOUGHTS FROM SEAN |
|
| Palladium Style Guide and Writing Template
Howdy. It’s been a while since I wrote anything for a Weekly Update, so I’m excited to draft up this message for all of you – our loyal fans – to read. Palladium Books is in an exciting place right now as we prepare for the arrival of tens of thousands of books and accessories for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness RPG Redux Editions. Trust me when I say that nobody is more anxious to see these books shipped and in the hands of backers than me, Kevin, and the rest of the Palladium team. There will be an official shipping timeline update coming soon, so stay tuned to the Kickstarter page.
Speaking of the Palladium team, I’m pleased to be able to report that every single person on the team from veterans like Alex and Wayne to newcomers like Caleb and Jeremy are all doing fantastic work. Kevin and I have never been prouder. From the new webstore (with PDFs and Starter Bundles!) to other soon-to-be-announced items, we are working hard to bring you the new books and products you crave.
As I have been finishing up final editing and layout work on Rifts Bestiary Volume 2 and shepherding Rifts Chaos Earth: First Responders through production, I also prepared a new Palladium Style Guide and RPG Writing Template. If you’ve ever wanted to write for Palladium Books or wondered how to structure your RPG adventures, these are the resources you must follow.
When I first started writing professionally there were often unwritten rules and best practices that I would bump into. Fortunately, many of the folks I did contract work for had solid resources for writers – a tip of the hat to our licensees at Pinnacle Entertainment Group on this account. To avoid such headaches for fans who want to write for Palladium through our unique fan-sourced publication of The Rifter, I decided to provide that and more. (FYI, we plan on bringing you Rifter #86 in 2026 – the numeric correlation was not intentional.)
Jeremy even helped me create a Google Doc that we will be sharing with you to help you easily format and submit your articles. Especially since we no longer accept other unsolicited manuscripts, if you want to write for Palladium Books, writing for The Rifter is the way to get your writing in front of us and our fans!
As Kevin mentioned in last week’s newsletter, the world is a tough place right now and the economy is challenging. Please remember that everything moves in cycles and we just need to keep the good news in mind and persevere through the rough times until we get to the other side. My hope for those of you who, like me, find real meaning through artistic expression – writing, visual arts, design, etc. – is that these new resources will help you focus on your creativity.
Stay positive. Roberson out.
