| | | | Please help me and Sean save lives via BRIC. We know finances are tight for many of you during these uncertain times, but this is your chance to make a genuine difference in the world, protect families, and save lives. All proceeds go to the charity. Even a $5 or $10 donation helps. In fact, if we could get a bunch of Palladium’s thousands of fans and customers to pledge as little as $5 or $10 it would make a profound difference. If you can afford it, please do so. This is your chance to make a real difference for people who are largely forgotten by the outside world. It’s not often that you know every penny goes to the people in need like this one.
Sean and I support and endorse this charity because we know the organizers and know that our efforts make a direct and immediate difference in the lives of the children and families of the BRIC compound. Our efforts have helped this compound in the African Congo to build walls and schools to fend off Warlord rebel forces and slavers. The BRIC compound has become a safe haven for local families. A haven that provides food and shelter as needed, and a school to educate children and teach teens and young adults a trade so they can become self-sufficient. These life-sustaining improvements could not happen without your prayers and financial assistance since 2022, but our crusade to save and improve the lives of the people in the region is far from complete.
The Democratic Republic of Congo is currently facing one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises. People are displaced, starving, and homeless, making safe havens like BRIC necessary for survival. Please join me (Kevin Siembieda) and Sean Owen Roberson by helping in any way you can. Your donations, small or large, will save lives.

| New on the Palladium Books YouTube Channel: Rifts® Xiticix Invasion. Kevin Siembieda (that’s me!) and J-M DeFoggi discuss the backstory behind the creation of the Xiticix. This is just one of something like 30 origin stories about the creation of Palladium’s many RPGs, worlds, and characters. |

| | | Granite State Comic Con September 18-21 – visit the Palladium Booth |
|
| Sean Owen Roberson and I (Kevin Siembieda) are guests and part of at least two panel talks. We’ll be driving up with Jeremy Colantonio to sell RPG books and to show you the TMNT & Other Strangeness Redux books, dice, Game Screen, that will be coming your way later this fall. All will be on display for you to look at and preorder. PLUS we are bringing a good selection of RPG books to sell and sign. Titles like After the Bomb (suitable for use with TMNT RPG), Heroes Unlimited, Ninjas & Superspies, Rifts, and others. We’ll have a small selection of art prints too. We are always happy to sign the books you buy or bring for us to sign from home. Palladium Books is booth #5 & #6 in the Artist Alley right next door to the Gaming Area!
Please bring us books from your collections to sign for you. It doesn’t matter whether it’s TMNT, Robotech, Rifts, Fantasy or whatever, we are happy to sign ‘em (no charge) and chat a while. Also get Jim Lawson and other Mirage Studio artists to sign your RPG books, especially ATB titles. Note: We don’t know the next time both Sean and I will be back at Granite State Comic Con or any convention on the East Coast, so please take advantage of this unique opportunity. |

| | | Palladium Collectibles – at Kevin’s Online Toy & Collectibles eBay Store |
|
| Palladium collectibles as well as action figures and other items from Kevin Siembieda’s personal collection are on sale!
One-of-a-kind Palladium Books negatives are always very popular items at the Palladium Open House, Gen Con, and conventions, and are catching on as rare collectibles, unique in and of themselves. Last year at Granite State Comic Con Kevin Eastman had TMNT negatives from the first comic book on display.
Before digital printing, pages of a book were laid out by hand on a board, and each page was photographed. These are the photographic negatives being sold as individual works of art and collectibles. When matted or framed on a white background they look like dynamic wood cut prints. And they are on sale right now! |

| | | | Don’t Despair
There are forces at work screaming at us from every platform telling us that our world is evil and ugly and consumed by hate, selfishness, bigotry, and cruelty. That we are flawed and terrible. Those forces want us to feel hopeless, terrified, angry, and violent. They want us to believe we are lost and failing every single day. They want us to feel isolated and lose ourselves to despair and hate.
Please don’t believe it. Not for one minute.
Are you a bad person? Are your friends? Your family? I’m going to wager the answer is no. You and most of your friends and family are kind and loving. You are hardworking good people who try to be honest, caring, and empathetic with everyone. Awesome! Way to go.
Do you think you are the only ones? No! There are millions upon millions of people just like you and your family and friends. Please never forget that. Please don’t let the cries of divisiveness and pervasive vitriol make you so numb or angry that you forget this truth.
Cling to the truth that goodness and kindness are not dead. It’s alive in you and me and most people. Continue to love and dream. Hold tight the people and things that bring you peace and joy. Push the fear and hatemongering out of your hearts and minds. See the beauty and wonder in this magnificent world and our incredible lives. Be happy and bold in your resolve to be a source of compassion and positivity. Be the light you want to see in the world. And remember, you are not alone. We are many.
Life is hard and none of us are perfect. We experience painful and scary challenges. We’ll all know loss, disappointment, and cruelty. It’s inescapable. But life is also beautiful and good. It’s filled with wonder and wonderful people. You just need to look for that wonder and remember how to see it.
I have known hardship, poverty, deep loss and sorrow. I’ve also been subjected to hatred directed toward me at various times of my life. I miss my beloved Kathy every day. I miss my dear friends Erick Wujcik and Kay Kozora, Keith Parkinson and Rob Justice, my Mom and Dad, and many others. I survived cancer and I live with diabetes. I could be bitter and angry, but I choose to be grateful and joyful. I wake up every morning glad to be alive. I walk out my door and I marvel at the beautiful blue sky, picturesque clouds, the symphony of birds, the scampering squirrels, the lush green trees, brilliant flowers, a cool breeze, and I think to myself with a smile, “The world is amazing. Life is beautiful. I’m glad to be part of it.”
Please don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Don’t let anyone steal your joy and gratitude or make you feel small and unimportant or consumed with anger and hate. See and appreciate the wonder and splendor of our challenging lives, and don’t let anyone crush your spirit.
I work hard at not letting the negativity, hate, and harsh words blind and deafen me to the beauty in our world. The beauty within YOU. Unleash your imaginations with RPGs and whatever else brings you together with friends and brings you joy. Revel in it. Share it with others. Shout your joy to the world and ignore the negativity. Focus on the good and the positive.
How do I hold onto joy, positivity and hope? Because I see it all around me. I see it in you and the many people I meet every day. I see you and appreciate you. I see your light, your beauty, your courage, and goodness. It gives me strength and hope, and it brings me joy. We are united in our love of games and literature and our shared humanity. Each one of us has the power to be the light in the darkness. Let us try to do so, because together we are many and we can light up the world. I try to be a force for good.
I fight with myself to be the light even on my worst days. I hope you join me in helping to light up our world in whatever positive ways you can.
So please let your imaginations, kindness, and awesomeness shine for all to see. Be happy. Be positive. Be hopeful and strong. Thank you for being you. I’m proud to know you. I love my life. I love my friends. I love you all.
