Advice on a Magic Character
I'm currently working on a small campaign for a few online players. One of the character's is your basic joe blow who for reasons "good hearted, good headed, etc." was selected by a dying mage hero to receive his powers via transference. Basically, he pulled a green lantern, only with magi...

and well, the good news is that there is the start of a fairly strong streak of support for RTT in the 3D printer communities, with a number of sellers on Shapeways and other such sites. till now they'd mainly done stuff for 'wave 2' content, or the non-macross Era's, but i've seen a few of them st...

Re: Farewell RRPGT Hello RRPGT
Thought of this myself. I think a Splicers or Systems Failure variation would be pretty cool to see. Customizing units on the splicer side would be where most of the crafting time would be spent as most machine forces are cut and paste. Numbers could make that even for the machines though. Systems F...

Re: New Activity on my website
Well, guess one has to figure that the Earth R&D establishment took a serious hit in the Rain of Death. Attention was focused on other projects with bigger payoffs(new mecha designs, greater warhead yields, better guidance systems, Fold drives, etc,) and so CIWS got short shrift. Frankly though...

Re: Miniatures for Rifts (What do you use?)
I decided to look and see if Palladium actually does make Mini's yesterday.
Turns out they do! Alot of them! They are made of pewter, and the selection is a bit limited with focus on the Coalition. So I'm gonna be buying some when I get home from being out of state.

Re: Coalition Soldiers as PCs
I've always run the Coalition the same way one runs the Imperium in Warhammer 40k. In any other setting, the Imperium are the badguys, but in their home setting, they are simply the arguably least worst to deal with. In Rifts, while the Coalition is nowhere near the same level of "screwed"...

I'm gonna be honest. After what happened over the last month...I am genuinely worried about Palladium's future (and Robotech's future as an IP come 2021 for that matter).
So...I'm gonna try and help. Better to try and fail then to try and never know.

Re: Palladium Books is looking to expand into other media
A little late to the game here, but here's my opinion. They need to expand into six areas, which the poll in the OP has shown alot of people agree with. I'll start with the Easiest and then go down to the hardest. 1: PDFs and E-books. It has been said since back in 2012, but this needs to be done. I...

Re: Playing Rifts with One Player and One GM
I do it all the time. In my experience you don't have to have alot of NPCs or references ready, unless you are planning out an actual campaign which is still minimal compared to a group game. The good is that games are easy to keep track of, and games that are more "Slice of Life" are very...

Re: Miniatures for Rifts (What do you use?)
For Rifts I use a variety when I run. D&D minis for the more magical, classical, primitive based classes or societies. Some Warhammer, but not many since aside from Chaos, there's little there that actually fits Rifts. Fallout Warfare. I have my bundle, so I'll get a fair amount of use if I run ...

It is a Heroes Unlimited campaign, with a bit of TMNT thrown in.
I should have made the original post more simple. looking back at it, it comes off a little strangely. What I need is page numbers for random tables best suited for enounter generation.

To put it simply, I have a problem. It has been many years since I had run a game that lasted more then a few hours and wasn't just messing around. I had forgotten most of the rules, but I am slowly remembering the more complicated ones. I was able to run a game with a decidedly cinematic feel but h...

Wikipedia: In 2002, a sighting of a large birdlike creature, with a wingspan of around 14 feet, was reported in Alaska. Scientists suggested the giant bird may have simply been a Steller's Sea-Eagle, which have a wingspan of 6-8 feet. hmm, I kinda remember that...well not really. On the Glen-Highwa...

A few things to bear in mind when it comes to the coming of the rifts.
