Something that has occured to me for ages is that palladium could make a kiing making up some 'lore books' to go with rifts and their other games. Basically written like novels or journals written by one of their more prominent npcs. Like actually writting a stand alone book of erin tarn's Traversing our modern world, or similar to a topic currently on this board, doc Reids findings, ect ect ect. The question is, if these were made, would you get them?

If they made a novelization of the Tristine Chronicals and stories on the Defilers, consider me sold.

Well, I do know that there were huge editing/printing problems with those novels. A lot of people on these boards complain that the writer took too much liberty with his concept of Rifts and multiple other gripes. I felt they were pretty good, but that's my 2 cents.

I agree that there were some major blunders, but those tended to be editing type problems. The books I thought were decent. No great literature, but a fun read. The feel was pretty gritty and fit into the PA timeline in my mind.

I think there should be a book about Zerebus and how he conquers Rifts Earth, and then makes Splyncryth his personal cook. The whole thing could climax with a viscous battle against a great summoned evil, known only as the "hair of Mattling!"

Mack has uncovered the secret plot of the Rifts Movie!

:nh: There would be much pain to be dished out if that were so.
