Ever see the 1978 Invasion of the Body Snatchers movie? There's a good example in the clip below of what you could get with an odd pairing of non-bipedal and human looks.

If I remember correctly, the answer I received some time back regarding the lack of character progression beyond starting skills, was that they didn't expect campaigns in AtB to last long enough for this to be an issue. This is part of the reason characters can start off with so many skills compared...

Might I suggest a much more simple way of handling this. Set a strength level needed to break through several types of chain and then use that to decide if the character can break it. Same with any other feat of Strength; set a difficulty and then have the character test their PS (D20+PS) vs the dif...

The Multiplex comic drop it's two cents worth on the trailer: http://multiplexcomic.com/strip/900
The CGI in the trailer reminds me of the subpar CGI from the first Hulk movie, so I'm not overly impressed. I also really hate reboot origin stories.

I've used this theme a few times with Heroes Unlimited over the years. I enjoy it and the different groups reactions when the reveal is made. Humans are covered starting on page 119 of AtB Second Edition. However, these rules do not turn the human into an animal. For that, I'd refer you to the Heroes Unlimited 2nd Edition. There is a mutant power that allows the character to take on the traits and powers/abilities of an animal. I don't ha...

Especially since Turtles Forever pretty much canonically links the b+w comic with the 80s and 2000s cartoons. When I had asked this question in the past the reasoning I received from Kevin and Eric was that:
1) Characters do not receive new skills as the progress.
2) Characters aren't expected to survive that long or to exist in long campaigns.

Expect a lot of down time for healing in most AtB games. This goes for the bad guys as well.
