Undead Slayer PPE
I have a couple questions about converting undead slayers the Yin-Sloth Jungles book to the second edition rules: How much PPE do they start with? How much do they get each level? Where is this written down?

It was turned in a little over a year ago. As for the answer to the question don't think I'm allowed to give out what's in the book, sorry.

I'm pretty sure he means undead hunters, since he mentions yin-sloth.
What you do is take the Wizard PPE base and use the offically updated spells from back of rifter 21.
May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.
Each question should be give the canon answer 1st, then you can proclaim your house rules.

I did mean the Undead Hunter, but I could not find the answer because I was looking for Undead Slayers. Here is the answer:
http://www.palladium-megaverse.com/questions/occ.html wrote:50. What should the P.P.E. base for the Undead Hunter in Yin Sloth Jungles be?
Answer: 3D4x10 + P.E. attribute plus 2D6 per level of experience

Forgot we put that in the old FAQ. That is the same version that made it into the manuscript.

Personally, I think it's way too high. Undead Hunters are portrayed as being lousy spellcasters, and they spend a large amount of time increasing their martial skill, not their magical talent. I'd say 1D6*10+PE.

They can cast a lot of lousy spells?
Pretty much. It would mean that their more powerful spells require aid, or experience, but it wouldn't make them powerhouses.

May consider keeping these guys relegated to spells per day instead of P.P.E.

For once, and this is a little painful to admit, I find myself disagreeing with Mister Hall! I think the stated amount of PPE fits nicely for the Undead Hunter. It's already a great deal lower than the wizard (and a number of other OCC's), and I think it would limit them adequately. Plus, who's to say what kind of changes Mr. Merrow put in when he upgraded them to 2E? I'll reserve final judgement until I see the work, but it sounds about right from I what I know of the 1st Ed. version.

Why am I all of a sudden seeing a vision of Mr. Nexx spouting "Badges? We don't need no stinking badges!"

Which manuscript? YinSloth 2nd ed? or Mysteries of Magic?
As for the one spell per day limitation, my UH chars have a one spell per melee limitation.

it still is okay, we used it in a game and it worked just fine.

Any estimate on when it will be published? (this year or next year or don't hold breath?)
