We need new Palladium Fantasy books

Unread post by Lukterran »

I know that Palladium is having finacial problems right now, but if they would refocus onto their origins in fantasy and publish some new books, I'm sure that they would get bought up.

Shot... just make a limited number of them, limited edition, and only orderable via the website. That should reduce the distribution costs. I'll pay a higher price for the books just make them.

My wish list:
Wolfen Wars (Longest promised)
Old Kingdom (Both books)
Land of the Damned 3
Yin-Sloth Jungle (reprint in 2nd edition)

And Yin-Sloth is slated for a re-release alter in the year, so you can cross that one off the list.

Ditto. But the Old Kingdom books would be nice too. Also, something redoing Crystal Magic (ala IAEOW) would be nice. Those items and weapons are still tuned to 1E and converting them has caused me headaches in the past.

How about... ANYTHING? Anything at all. Heck, I won't be buying a book (except MoM, cause you da man, Nexxy!) until OK books come out, but, it would be nice to see ANYTHING new for PF.

I thought Old Kingdoms was longest Promised.

Lets get Land of the southwind and
Isand at the edge of the world to 2nd ed.

And who accepts the contention that Rift Dimention books, specificaly Duval and Hades (for minion war), are PF books?

Nope, the Old Kingdom books, or pretty much any other world book, wasn't even a thought when Kevin promised Wolfen Wars after The Northern Wilderness Adventure book was released (1st edition).

I think the only books that where released back then besides the above mentioned book was; Palladium Main Book, High Seas, Monsters & Animals, Old Ones, and Arms of Nargash Tor.

edit: that doesn't sound right, what I meant was, based on things said in various places I gather land of the damned wasn't a very high priority anyway and that Kevin was hesitant to publish this area before so much of the rest of the palladium world was ready

IIRC Bill Coffin wanted to do a LoD book, Kevin wanted it to be at least three books

I think that the chances of seeing LOD 3 are very slim, if it ever comes out, it will be several years.

Old Kingdon, dont know what happened to those books.

When does MOM come out anyway, Nexx?

I would like to see 2nd ed Yin Sloth , LOD 3 etc as promised as i think these are two of the most likely to actually be done.

I would like to see LOSW and Old Kingdom HIghlands & Lowlands as these would then complete the world books (almost).

As I GM a group of wolfen, Wolfen wars book would also be interesting although it is so long that my Brother has written an epic adventure based around our characters in wolfen wars, so perhaps an actual book would spoil it...

One thing I would not want to see BEFORE any of the above is a "whats beyond the black wall" book or "a lost continent" book. Even the hades/hell books could wait...

Something to let us know whats beyond would be VERY nice. I would accept just a paragraph in another book, since to have made it in paragraph form would mean that at least 1 PF book was published.

Hate to break it to you, but Wolfen Wars wasn't thought of when OK books were promised. Yes, that WAS first edition. But it was long before anyone mentioned Wolfen Wars. People didn't start talking about WW until just before 2nd E.
