Thank You!

Unread post by mumah »

I just wanted to say thanks to Kevin and Wayne and all you cats at Palladium for inviting me to the Open House this year, and I especially wanted to thank all the great people I met on Saturday. I wish I could have stayed for the whole weekend, but I definitely will be hanging around a lot longer next year! Everyone I met was wonderful!

Yeah, it was great when you and I flipped through D-Bees of North America and went on an ego trip.

"I wrote this D-Bee."

"I drew that D-Bee."

"I wrote that one and you drew it."

Yeah, we actually did that... for like a half hour,

It was cool though.

Josh, do you cry yourself to sleep every night because "Song of the South" is not available on DVD? I mean all of your Dee-bees are Anthropomorphic animals that live in the south, you might as well have brier catfish and brier wolf etc..

Yeah, I was bummed when Kevin cut Br'er Rabbit from the book.

That D-Bee race kicked ass.

It was weird how everybody knew who I was (except Kevin), am I really that cool?

Actually, Disney is supposed to be releasing it on DVD...and bootleg copies are available everywhere.

There's a reason...and a very good one...that I have certain people in this forum blocked both here and on Facebook.

I can see an illustration of that nearly every time I come here.

I'm telling you, the whole thing was just surreal to me. I'm a rookie when it comes to all this. People just handing me books to autograph and having other great artists and writers telling me what a great job I did...man, hard to wrap my head around the whole thing. I'm just glad to be a part of it all. And Josh, you keep writing your deep southern anthropomorphic D-Bees, I'll draw 'em!

That was Shinitenshi. Man we went hog wild on those things. It was very cool to finally meet you, though. Too bad you weren't able to hang the whole time, we were having fun the entire weekend.

Yeah, I couldn't manage to get away from the real world longer than Saturday. Next year I'll be there for the whole thing.
