Don't you buy everything thrice?
I might consider buying those if more come out and in a timely manner.

Vampire sourcebook was one of the better books to Rifts in a long time, My favourite is still Shemarrian Nation. It is a great read

When you asked the question I only got two plain PDFs but now they have released an update for one of them (Vampire Kingdoms the World Book) with bookmarks like the NG books so I think the other one is coming sooner than later. Still I would love to see something like this "augmented pdf": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=biBxNCZ1d1s.

This is a step in the right direction. I'll buy one to show support even though I own print copies of both books.

Same here. I have a move coming Aug 1, but soon as that's over, I'll be buying one or both (have both in hardcopy, and i still have my well-used 1st printing of Vamp Kingdoms original).
And they say Atlantis is next.... *fingers & toes crossed* that is probably the #1 WB used in my gaming group since its release. If not #1, top 5 for sure.

While I'm disspaointed it too so long. i'm glad they are releasing more current books in PDF. It's more money and any company needs more of that imo.

Palladium can't be given a free pass for criticism because people have a lot of emotion invested in it.
Pathfinder is good. It is not the second coming of D&D.

Re: WOOHOO!!! FINALLY!!!
I wonder how much of this is due to the Savage Rifts Initiative.

I bet that this is a significant reason. In December, there is a potential for a lot of customers to want to purchase Palladium setting material.
People who play Savage Worlds are used to buying pdf files. When Pinnacle has a new release, their default is a pdf available upon release date, and then as an option, a print copy that isn't available until about 4 months later.

That is what I like to hear!
As far as Savage Rifts having anything to do with this, it does not. This has been in progress for a long time- I just could not talk about it.

I see Atlantis and England have been added to the list.
Does anyone know if Atlantis is the original printing, or one that has the unlisted ('shadow') updates?

I too hope it's the most recent printing as well. It just makes sense to provide a PDF with the most updated material.

Sorry I didn't realize there was a "shadow" update. What was it?

Since the RUE came out various books have been getting slight updates, not full revised editions. I personally have seen both versions of Juicer Uprising and the Coalition War Campaign. Mostly it is O.C.C.s getting additions/revisions to bonuses, or some slight updates to rules text. The updates are not listed, and not announced, so there is no way to know what all has been updated, and which books are affected. I have been told Atlantis is one, hence my question.

I see. I have all original books so was unaware. Would be nice if the updates were posted some where....curious what was added to Atlantis, and you say Juicer and CS books?

Juicer Uprising and the Coalition War Campaign specifically. I cannot speak for any others, there are some old threads about it if you search.

So I bought Atlantis just to check, and I can say that it is indeed the shadow-updated version.

As a brief example all the Hawrk- R.C.C.s have had changes to their combat stats. (no I wont list the changes).
I havent had the book that long, and I am at work, I just cross checked a few things to see if there were differences, there are.

If I remember correctly the shadow updates are also written in a slightly different font as well. My Rifts books are in storage so I can't check to be sure.

Without being able to look at the books I think your correct. All that I know is that one can see which is a more recent printing.
