Your opinions on this unique weapn

I came across this badass weapon a few weeks ago.

Now if I were to create a rune weapon which would be welded, swung and used in exactly the same manner, with the shape of the weapon staying the same, which W.P. would be the most appropriate one for such a weapon?

The closest palladium equivalent would be the forearm laser blades from the saber cyclone mecha in REF sentinels.

It looks like a WP sword to me.

My first time playing a Vagabond in Rifts I had EX PS and ran around with a Cloud sword stuck to my back... The GM just said My W.P. for it was called: "W.P. F.F. Rip off" and used the WP Sword chart for ease sake.
Do the same but, as wildhood said, use the Lance wp

Alright, I did some research on it.

That bleach hottie held the sword-lance in the same manner as shown in the following pic.

Then I realize we do have someone who weld a similar sword in a similar manner.

It is the ... Tirrvol Sword Fist!

That Bleach weapon is just a blown up version of the Sword Fist's arm!

W.P. Furniture

Seriously, though. Weapons that big should fall under the Pole Arm category. However, there is no shame in using two W.P.'s with the same weapon. You can use Lance/Polearm for Lance/Polearm charging attacks and W.P. Sword for slashing attacks and parries.

I like the idea of having more than one WP for a weapon, if applicable. However, I would think that a weapon that's long enough to be used as a lance might have some penalty to strike and parry assessed to WP Sword, due to the amount of space that it takes to get the tip from point A to point B.
