Mutation Nation (more fun with random rolls)

Unread post by DevastationBob »

Go hog-wild on the mutant table, use the weird option from HU 2nd edition; two from the general mutation, plus 1d4 from sub-tables.

Here's what I got...

Scaly Skin and Double Jointed
sub-table (4) demonic face, purple (scaly) skin, bushy full heard of hair (stark white), and long delicate fingers

Random roll on the Mutant Powers Table: One Major, Three Minor
Multiple Limbs, Heightened Sense of Touch, Adhesion, and Alter Limbs.

Education level: High School Graduate

Crazy Hero: Frenzy (Intense Anger) because I doubt anyone with that set of features is gonna stay sane.

Stocky (I roll that a lot), Coal Black Skin, Extra Large Hands
One Major, Two minor powers; Radar, Extraordinary PP, Create Force Field
Education Level: Street Schooled
Random Insanity: Neurosis: Fear of Success

Poor street kid, probably grew up in the mutant underground with deep feelings of inadequacy from his genetic state. Now just second tier super muscle for any mastermind that's hiring. Code name is something like Blackguard.

Mutation Nation!

Cause of the Mutation: [48] Genetic Aberration. Mutant gene structure (a one-in-a-million of fate) is responsible for the mutation
Unusual Physical Characteristics: [52] 3
  • Characteristic 1: [29/93] Unusual Amounts of Body Hair; The character is covered in 2 inch long fur from head to toe
  • Characteristic 2: [86/92] Unusual Ears; No ears at all
  • Characteristic 3: [14/03] Unusual Skin; Translucent (-10 SDC; 1/2 PB; Horror Factor 7 (or +1 if character already has Horror Factor))
Mutant Power Selection: [13] 4 Minor Powers
Powers
  • Minor Power 1: [12/69] Psychic Abilities; Mechanical Awareness
  • Minor Power 2: [73/02] Energy Expulsion Cold
  • Minor Power 3: [58/29] Impervious & Resistance; Immune to Psionics
  • Minor Power 4: [17/73] Enhanced Biology; Heavyweight

Not bad. The fur and the translucent skin together are interesting. The fur itself could be translucent, which would be a really odd look for this guy.

He could look like a polar bear. :) Polar bears have black skin and transparent fur.

Snape, which chart are you using? I don't recall seeing translucent skin before.
