There's also the WW2 vintage 20mm Oerlikon to consider, and teh rather better Polsten 20mm(a Polish effort to make the Oerlikon simpler and easier to produce...they succeeded, but like Enigma, was forced to smuggle the plans to England, where it was massproduced by the British...)...and the equally immortal 40mm Oerlikon cannons... :D

The USN also used a 40mm anti aircraft weapons in WW2. They are very nice weapons.

Yep...Had the chance to examine the AA guns on the Battleship Massachussetts...and there was heavier...but that's getting into the realm of proper artillery...UNless you're a robot-conversion cyborg or the heaviest of Russian Assault 'borgs....something like a 75mm cannon-rifle is pushing it, let alone an 88mm 'sniper' cannon!(though I've contemplated it :D )

With some of the newer battlefield radars over the past few decades that has become a must to be able to do......Shoot and scoot that is. I can see it coming to haunt the Rift's battlefield too.

In keeping with "those on the move" and want that extra enduring fire power, we have it for you.

RFMSr. ARMS PORTABLE GENERATOR FOR WEAPONS WITH E-CLIP SLOTS PGWEC-00-24.
Size: 4ft tall, 3ft wide and 3ft thick.
Weight: 250 lbs
Capacity: Virtually unlimited.
ROF: As per weapon.
Ammo: As supplied by Generator
Range: As per weapon.
Damage: As per weapon.
Special: This is an energy generator specially designed to be used with any weapon with a standard E-clip slot. An electric “belt” plugs into the E-clip slot from the generator. Generator has a nuclear battery that powers it. The generator has enough “juice” to power the weapon equal to a 30 round E-clip per melee round. After 1d4+2 melee rounds of continuous use, it will cycle down for 15 seconds (1 melee round.) Then when the ready light turns green, it is ready for another 1d4+2 melee rounds.
Price: 889,500cr.
Availability: Average
Black Market: 950,000 - 1,000,000cr.
Description: Looks like metallic box with the flat belt like electric cable coming out of bottom center. On/Off switch on top right forward corner. Has shoulder/backstraps assembly harness available in several sizes. Wheel assembly and lifting/pull handles also available. Ready light on cable near E-clip entry point. RED = not ready, YELLOW = Warning: will cycle down in 15 seconds (1 melee round.), GREEN = fully charged.
Note: May be vehicle mounted and wired into the vehicle’s power source. This allows for continuous firing as per weapon’s ROF and vehicle’s power source. No cycle down. Cycle down time is only for the backpack/portable version. Armor adds to size and weight, see below. MDC is for MDC worlds only.
AR/SDC///MDC by location:
Electric Belt – 15/100///10*
Main Body – 18/250///50**
*Belt is destroyed when depleted to 0. (Sparking and 1-50% chance “dancing cable” will electrocute the firer.)
**Generator is destroyed when depleted to 0. (Radioactive leak and/or explosion at GM’s discretion.)

GOOD NEWS: An adapter to power your own E-clips is now available.
Special: Will charge a standard E-clip in 1d2+1 minute. This uses one of the melee round "charges" and counts toward the 1d4+2 melees before cycling down in the backpack versions.
Cost: 3,500cr.

Enjoy :D

I think these weapons are grossly overpowered, and the slug throwers are tremendously so for their price. Bring the MD damage down on everything, increase price on ammo. Increase price on the weapons.

With these weapons why would anyone use any other type of gun?

My favorites are the saw vibro knife, and the generator. I don't really go much one way or the other on the rest, and I liked the first page of equiptment best.

Enjoy :D

Again another solid piece of equipment!! :D

Funny. The stuff looks like a good thing but there not my kind of flavor of cake if you can see it that kind of metaphore. I have created a weapons company myself about a year ago. It came about from a Merc company called D.F.A. (Diplomatic Firearms Associates or their once enemies called them Death From Above since they use more artillery than most Merc companies). They started the company about the same time as the Tolkieen war had started so thats why they didnt really show up to the CS until the end of the war. I have everything from a simple pistol to construction equipment and farming equipment. The company doesn't really make any S.D.C weaponry because most of the threats are going to be M.D. So not to knock off yours (they are nice) because I'm still thinking on if I want to post it or not and if I do I'm still going to get them to almost complete so I could post almost all in one go. Nice work.

BY all means, post...artillery is always fun... :D
