I always imagined The World of RECON was about the size of western Europe, which is a little arbitrary in itself these days.

I think that those fictional countries are supost to represent
A: the Middle East
B: South African and Angola
C: El Salvador and it's neighbors.
So I personally would use maps of the world that closely fit the general description of the fictional countries.
