Last week was a busy one . . .

Unread post by Kevin »

Last week was busy . . .

. . . with a lot of prep work for upcoming projects and goings-on behind the scenes. I'll try to touch on a bunch of that next week. For now, I just I wanted to wish you all a nice holiday weekend.

I would have posted yesterday except I was caught up in other things. I had to run to my attorney’s office to sign contracts. Enjoyed a nice lunch and conversation with two of my attorneys and checked out a big, cool comic shop called The Vault of Midnight in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Then came back to numerous other things demanding my attention into the night.

I’m wrapping up at the office now (Saturday evening) so I can relax at home Sunday and Monday of the Labor Day Holiday.

As usual, there’s never enough time to get everything done that NEEDS to be done. Still, I feel like I accomplished quite a bit, and will be raring to go on Tuesday. Heck, most of you probably won’t even read this till Tuesday. Good for you. I hope you're having fun with those you care about.

New art prints. Those of you who relax by coming to the Palladium message boards may have noticed we’re offering some nice, 11x14 inch prints of covers from John Zeleznik’s old RiftsworkZ Portfolio. Four are available:
- Pantheons of the Megaverse®

http://www.palladiumbooks.com/Merchant2 ... Code=PR802

- Rifts® Japan

http://www.palladiumbooks.com/Merchant2 ... Code=PR803

- Juicer Uprising

http://www.palladiumbooks.com/Merchant2 ... Code=PR804

- Coalition War Campaign

http://www.palladiumbooks.com/Merchant2 ... Code=PR805

Each is printed on a card stock, at a nice size, and suitable for framing. We’ve had a set hanging up in the Palladium offices since 1996! Of course, the portfolio has been sold out for years, and is something of a collector’s item. In fact, I’ll be offering a couple of the RiftsworkZ portfolios in an upcoming Palladium Collectibles Auction. This is the first time (other than Gen Con 2007) that we’ve offered them as individual prints. We figured why leave ‘em sitting in a box when people can enjoy them? The upcoming auctions will feature other items that have been stored for years too.

Of course, we have plenty of new RPG books and products in the pipeline too (not to mention a long awaited announcement). Keep your eyes peeled to the Murmurs and the Palladium website for announcements and Press Releases in the weeks to follow (starting next week).

Gotta run. Enjoy the Labor Day weekend and keep those imaginations burning bright.

Sincerely,
