tmnt rulebook edition differences?

Unread post by kdork »

hello,

i apologize if this question has been answered completely somewhere else already.

what are the differences between the editions of TMNT & other strangeness? i have copies of the original and revised editions, and i cannot spot any differences between the two other that the color of the text on the cover.

i understand there is also a printing with "strangeness" misspelled on the cover, that has additional tables--what additional tables does it have? was this book the first printing, i assume?

thanks!

The skills system. The original used the High School/Collegiate/Military system of Palladium's early games. The revised edition uses the more familiar skills system.

The skill system was definitely a big one (and if you are going to use the old AtB stuff that book is nice to have but if you don't, you can wing it). The old ranged combat tables that were absolutely hideous are another big difference...and, the ever popular insanity tables. If you find a book with the "strangness" spelling...grab it.
