Rifts, Easter Island

In WB 32 Lemuria, it states that the statues of Easter Island automatically activate and attack all Supernatural Evil that approaches the island.
What happens is a Supernatural being with a Good or Selfish Alignment approached?

Would the Statues do nothing if not attacked first, would they notify the Lemurian Guards on the island of the approaching Non-Evil Supernatural Being or would they fully activate and attack despite the fact the being is not Evil?

Personally, I'm leaning to they do nothing if the being has a Good Alignment and emit a warning tone to alert the Guards of the approach but otherwise stay dormant if the being has a Selfish Alignment...

Programmed to respond according to their programming.
So, they can sense supernatural evil.

Best guess, a non-evil character attacks, they do nothing until they are near destruction, then they might evade or flee or fight defensively and stopped after they are not being "attacked."
