Post count went down?

Things you wished the Board would do. Or cool phpBB boards with features you'd love to see. Oh yeah and problems with the board in general.

Post count went down?

Unread post by Alpha 11 »

Just wondering what happened to my post count. It was over 9000. So did some data get lost or something? Did the same happen to anyone else?

Yeah, I lost like . . . 2,000 posts or something like that when the transfer happened. So you're not the only one.

This is correct. This happened MONTHS ago

Did the Rankings Chart (based on post count) get moved to an odd spot?

Apologies to everyone on their reduced post counts. Our Forums database is in the Gigabytes range and updating it from the really old version it was on was _a nightmare_. We hated trimming things down but at the end of the day, it was the only way to pull the bulk of the Forums into the future.

Thanks for your understanding and I'm sorry for anything you lost. We'll be keeping the forums better updated so hopefully we won't see that kind of deep cut again.
