characters under eighteen

You are on your own. The Army is MIA and our government is gone! There are no communications of any kind. Cities and towns have gone dark, and zombies fill the streets. The dead have risen and it would seem to be the end of the world. Help me, Mommy!

characters under eighteen

Unread post by Saustin65 »

Hello All:

I have had the first three dead reign books for about a year now and have ordered the fourth book and am looking forward to reading it. I do have a simple question: Where can i find info on the bonuses and penalties on creating characters that are the ages of thirteen to seventeen. Any help will be greatly appriciated.

Thanks

I know they talk a little about under-aged characters in the Dead Reign core book under the survivor entry.

Third reason to get this book looks like.
"Understanding is a three-edged sword."
Kosh from Babylon 5
"You don't understand, so you find excuses."
Doctor Who

You should also try Beyond the Supernatural 2nd Edition. It has rules for children/teens too.

You mean 'what OCCs they are allowed to take'?

Got the Endless Dead sourcebook back in April and have read through it and decided to add the Sentinel, Survivalist, Zombie Hunter and Zombie Researcher to the list of OCC's that the players can use for their characters.

Also, I am puzzled that there are no character advancement tables in the book. So I plan to plot out a table with the original table in the Dead Reign Book. If anyone has any suggestion, i am will accept any and all.

Thanks

But not in DR, as in canon there are no ley line walkers :P Thus the 'what you are allowed to take' is implicitly 'what you are allowed to take in the setting that is in use.' and as such, for instance you will not have a 13 year old military officer (at least no in the US, in Somalia, or the Congo perhaps)
The rules are not a bludgeon with which to hammer a character into a game. They are a guide to how a group of friends can get together to weave a collective story that entertains everyone involved. We forget that at our peril.

Weren't those the ones that were reprinted recently in a Rifter? Or am I remembering something else?
