Re: Makin characters
Considering that most of my characters are the ones I used last year, I'm doing pretty darn good. I will probably have to do some tweaks once triax 2 comes out, but that shouldn't be a big deal. I will probably also make some additional Splicers characters based on the new O.C.C.'s from Rifter #50.

Re: Makin characters
Still building templates for my DR games.
Have not touched my Rifts, Chaos Earth or BTS games yet. Rifts and Chaos Earth won't be bad, just need to generate and tweak them the BTS will take longer as I will need templates for those. I am maybe 5% done. Wow, I need to goof off less at work and get some GM prep done!

I'm thinking about making one of the power armor pilots a saloon girl for kicks.

All characters rolled up...now I have to finish the backgrounds, build the forge, paint a couple of minis, work out some story details.

So that's what it takes to be an outstanding gm - doing the work ahead of time!!
I don't know about all that, just trying to avoid stopping at Kinko's every day of the OH to print that days characters that I just finished at 2:30 the night before. Also trying to work ahead a little more this year as I will have my 1 year old in tow at the OH and I know Mrs. Reelman will want to enjoy some gaming and festivities so no down time to finish the next games characters. Still miles to go before I sleep.....

As if I would leave her at home, she was heart broken she missed last year but had a really good excuse and I know I was awfully torn about my attendance last year. Dinner plans are a given, but be warned, with the absence of Richards, she will have all her fawning freelancer love to direct at you!

Nightbane: 6 of 6 characters complete.
Rifts Characters: 4 of 6 complete.
Heroes Unlimited characters: 6 of 6 in the process of completion.
Doing MUCH better than any other year, and now that all of my pre-OH tests and papers are out of the way I have a week to work on stuff.

Re: Makin characters
For the board game: got the 6 basic characters classes you can play (Power Armor Pilot, Juicer, Shifter, Ley Line Walker, Glitter Boy and Headhunter) all ready, game pieces are done and going by Fed-Ex Office tomorrow to get the game boards printed. Still got to do one more read through on the rules sheets to make sure they are understandable to other people and I'll be done!

Calm, reasoned discourse is the best way to change minds; too bad all the calm & reason in the world can't open a willfully closed mind.

Re: Makin characters
I finished rolling up characters for my Triax 2 game last night at 3:15 A.M. and my splicers characters are done, but i have not put them into my electronic character sheet.

Re: Makin characters
Argh, I realized last night that my Chaos Earth characters were not finished! Still have a few backgrounds to write up. Need to print out characters, prep folios, pack and make some cards. Further ahead than ever before but still behind!

I'm still trying to think of a give-away for my VIP night game. I have the ones for my Splicers games all lined up.
