What little things have you done to add flavor to the setting?
Dark Day Wall: After Dark Day people started putting up pictures of the ones who had vanished on walls around the country. Took the idea from the 9/11 wall in New York.

My 911 setting flavor thingy is:
Something took down the twin towers in Nightlands New York....all the Nightlords know is there was a horrific (for them) flash of white light and the towers fell. The ground zero area still glows a pale light and nothing that ventures into the area ever returns. Whatever happened nobody knows. My PC's know about it, but have yet to work up the nerve to investigate.
