Come to think about it, Doctor Who is kind of short on evil AI's... K9 is a robot, but not evil, One would think that after 30+ years on the air, they would have had at least one memorable evil computer...

Ooooh, another example from SC2: Slylandro(sp?) Probes. Basically van Neuman probes with bad programming.

Artificial.. check..

Intelligent?.... Ok those things are probably the least intelligent of all the artificial 'intelligences' on this list, but I guess they're still part of it.

Dahak wasn't mentally ill; just locked out of some of his own systems.

It's the Achuultani (the Imperiums' alien nemesis) who are run by demented AIs.

Scariest ever thing to come from the minds of Disney. Not enough floating robots in Rifts, I think I may work to change that.

Maximilian was a cyborg, not an AI. All of the "robots"(with the exceptions of V.I.N.CENT and B.O.B.) were cyborgs created out of the original-crew of the Cygnus.

Interesting side note: The name of the actor that portrayed Dr Reinhardt was Maximilian.

Nope Maximilian was a robot, the only actual robot on that particular ship.

We would have all had our geek licenses revoked if Hal 9000 had not been the very first crazy AI mentioned. Luckily for us, I made sure Hal was first. If it had been otherwise, it would have been very difficult..... Dave.....

Maximilian and the 'Brownshirt' robots....the robed workers were cyborgs.
Just to further refine the point.

Doctor Who Spin Off The Sarah Jane Adventures had Mr. Smith
But he's a Xylock a crystaline race so doesn't really count.

Ah ha in Warriors of Kudlak there was a computer that was giving orders to continue a war even after the war was over. Causing the species to abduct human children to be reprogrammed as serrogate warriors.
