Lone Star Campaign

Unread post by Ted Smythe »

I am looking to set a campaign in Rifts Texas, but it will include visits to Los Alamos, Houston, San Antonio and Fort El Dorado. Does Lone Star cover all of these places and, if not, where should I look for more information? Thanks.

Note: I do not have RUE yet. Does it have the information I am looking for?

Lone Star and New West are the two books you need.
Spirit West can add to your campaign, but it isn't essential. That said, I use Spirit West as much as I do New West.
If you plan on using the CS in Lone Star a lot, I recommend Coalition War Campaign as well.

I ran a CS game in Lone Star for several years. For info on Los Alamos and Ft. El Dorado you will need Juicer Uprising's. If you have that along with New West and Lone Star you should be set. Spirit West could help but I didn't feel the need to use it very much, just depends on where your game goes.

Also remember that you can throw some funky, homebrewed CS stuff (personnel and equipment) that isn't in the books at your players and write it off as LoneStar R&D.

It would complete throw them if they know the books too.
