I used a character I created with AtB in a story I wrote but it was set in a Gamma World/Mutant Future setting. The initial idea for the story (written during National Novel Writing Month) was:

Electric felinoid and her potted plant friend. uncover plot by pure strain human secret society to attack a town. Town found a mech but no power. Felinoid powers the mech to save town. Some other groups detects mech powering up. Destroys town but felinoid, plant and giant intelligent mole escape.
