Hot Hot Hot!
Where in the PF books does it say how much damage is done for something being very hot?
May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.
Each question should be give the canon answer 1st, then you can proclaim your house rules.

Re: Hot Hot Hot!
I have not seen a general rule for this scenario, but objects heated by the Heat Object & Boil Water spell (2nd edition main book, p. 235) inflict 1D4 damage when touched.
I should think that some objects (e.g. red-hot irons) would inflict substantially more damage than this.

The closest I can think of to use as a reference though non pf source.
The major super ability Alter Physical Structure Plasma, specifically the section on melting points of objects and the damage dealt for having armor melted on top of you.

The APS plasma was the very first place I thought of...but it was a non-pf source.

I believe the heat and melting damage aspects of the power were the universal temperature affects in sdc Palladium games, I might be wrong.

All I got from the PF2E main book was
pg235:
-"Heat Object & Boil Water", doesn't equate Specific Temp = Damage, but does say something is to hot to handle = damage.
-"Create Heat", doesn't list damage per say, but mentions extreme heat over 110deg F can cause heat exhaustion and passing out for several minutes
Pg174:
-under Water Spout sub-power mentions boiling water thrown in the face in terms of damage (and we know how hot Boiling Water is)

There is a lot of debate on if there is any such thing as 'universal cross game' rules in Palladium (not trying to hijack the thread on Lineism/Megaversalisim, and actually trying to head off such)
This is probably why the OP specifically asked for rules from PF.
The rules are not a bludgeon with which to hammer a character into a game. They are a guide to how a group of friends can get together to weave a collective story that entertains everyone involved. We forget that at our peril.

PF doesn't have a "hard rule" on heat damage. It depends on not only the temperature of the item but also the surface area and contact with the person on how much damage a person would suffer from hot objects.
