Any updates?
Are there any plans to release the third Land of the Damned sourcebook or further Mysteries of Magic? The first MoM had good material and teased about new forms of magic, leaving me wanting more!

Re: Any updates?
I consider Land of the Damned 3 to be vaporware unless Bill Coffin and Kevin have some kind of professional reconciliation.
As for MoM, I honestly don't know. If Palladium Books is working on it, they're keeping mum. Their hands seem to be full with Northern Gun and Robotech RPG Tactics this year.

Well crap in a hat. Just found out about the Bill Coffin thing. Damn shame about that.
Special thanks to Wikipedia for catching me up on the matter. >_>

The answer will be yes but you and I will be no better off for it.

No better off in regards to actual seeing the product. It was scepticism for all things Palladium Fantasy.

Re: Any updates?
They are not coming. I would be on 'ever'. Which is sad, since I know both would be purchased by those few I know who still pay attention to Palladium, the only reason I didn't buy MoM:1 is because I was waiting for them all to come out before placing my order (since no one sold Palladium anywhere near where i lived), and after a few years of seeing it in 'coming soon' I caught on to what was really happening. As to LOTD, everyone I know who like Palladium loved the first one, and liked the second, except for the really strange choice of cover art...

What was up with the cover art? I rather liked it.

Re: Any updates?
It was neat, a group of classical fantasy adventurers apparently running afoul several little yellow fay folk in an old woodland with high fantasy towers rising in the background. But lets not kid ourselves, it was the cover for a book called 'Land of the Damned #2: Eternal Torment', which has this description:
"A land of the undead and villainy.
The enchanted forest known as the Darkest Heart.
New types of undead and werebeasts.
Dark magic."
It looks like they couldn't afford an appropriate cover and so picked one out of the bin that looked 'fantasy' and just ran with it.

Well, to be fair, the ancient elven kingdom, big forest, and fairie kingdom is in there too. But yeah, the title seems a bit mismatched with the cover art.

It is on Kevin's list of books to be released in 2014. Take that however you wish- don't shoot the messenger.

Not true. There is an account of how a manuscript summary was given detailing evil faeries so the cover was worked up then the completed manuscript was turned in full of undead to the publishers surprise. but the material was too good not to use. The only account I know of is the publishers if you cant tell.

Re: Any updates?
I actually remember reading about the exact opposite account, maybe in Bill Coffins rant way back when when he was discussing why we would never see LOTD3, but it's all academic now.
