Something else that always happens. If I pick up a book and just skim thru it I always come up with new adventure ideas. It doesn't matter what book it is because each one has so much packed into it.

Interesting concept but not sure it really works. The vision limitations, and claws on the string of the bow are some big flags to me. If your GM allows it then cool. Just seems really tough to force sense of.

I put my vote in as this is the game that got me into Palladium Fantasy. It was the first thing that really caught my attention from PFRPG. Before this game I had no interest in any Fantasy settings.

I must say the Old ones is one of the best books. We traveled Timoro Kingdom for years. Also I realy love the wolfen books. They are great! I think any additional OCCs and possible storys for our games are a bonus. Rifts England is on my short list of Rifts books I have been considering getting because of the fact that a lot of it can be converted for Palladium Fantasy.

i believe its adventures in the northern wilderness or further advent in north wilds they stopped selling for a while, but it can be found in used bookstores and or amazon or ebay. and of corse drive though rpg has it in pdf, but i dont really like pdf myself, I would leave that as a last option pe...

monsters and animals should be #1 priority outside the main book, you need those beasties! high seas book only if you plan on ocean adventures. librairy of belithrad only if you are planning a game around on of the rune weapons in there, or the librairy itself is gonna be a big part of the campiagn...

Parry Rules: Strong hand gets the bonus's and the weak hand gets a -1 penalty. That might be a good way to handle that rule. Plus the shield rule needs to be beefed up some. As already stated above the CS would be a great way to start them for those reasons.

Also the fact that they will learn that sometimes it's best to run or they will die. This isn't a typical hack and slash type game usually unless that is the type of game you want to run.

Page 18 of Monsters & Animals (revised, page 166 in first edition) has a Map of the known world with racial demographics.. any random character generation should take this into account; for exampl, in the Old Kingdom Orcs are 25% and humans are 15%, so that's the range of percentile they should...

Does anyone have an extra Rifts core book? They could probably send that to him to give to one of the players at the Con. I love the idea of giving the core book to the best RPer (that doesn't own it) in the game at the con. Then give a Rifter to the best RPer who does own the core book already.
