Re: something that continues to bother me..
If you're going to explain it, the first step is to accept that Robotech rank structures and assignments don't work how the real world does it currently. Luckily, Robotech gives plenty of story-based reasons why they wouldn't do things the way our world works. And yes, as stated there are examples o...

Re: New Activity on my website
I think there's a valid case to be made for a distinction between susceptible and vulnerable. It makes sense near any ship could be susceptible to high enough numbers of enemy mecha, hence why everyone puts high numbers of enemy mecha into action. That's self-evident, they wouldn't be there if they ...

Well, this edition of the RPG is supposed to be following the current version of Robotech, which doesn't strictly follow the tv series. Ugh, I've never liked the conceit of UEDF and ASC as seperate, since Southern Crossers are referred to as United Earth Defense Forces in the tv series.
Me, I'd no problem with local or UEG member state forces being able to be commandeered under orders of the *Global* Military Police.

In the episode "Robotech Masters" we see Earth-designed ships of the same type used in the 2nd Robotech War light years away. Combined with Carpenter's statements, its clear that Earth ships were operational by 2015 if you're using the TV series as part of the continuity.
