I personally liked the Spirit West book, mostly for new O.C.C's. However, I was dissappointed with Dimension Book: The Three Galaxies. Way too vague at some points, and it seemed that the writer went at things half-assed.

In a contest, one of my PC's (a sea titan) fought the Demon of Splynn and recieved a bunch of creds and a pair of Dragon Rune Rods. In a much older campaign, a character won Vagan's Hook. It was rather nifty.

Sadly, I only have a few characters capable of Astral combat. However, if defeating the astral form could somehow weaken the LotD, that can help. Plus, I believe that some weapons severely hinder his regenerating abilities. Especially Millenium Tree items. Maybe a big torpedo loaded with M.T. shrapn...

In my game, that's how it had to be done. Not even characters with Mechano-link could figure out the protoculture or means to use it. Therefore, it was extracted. Now, near as I can guess, wouldn't a cyber harness help with full mecha mobility? (Harness as seen in Rifts: Warlords)

Even if you can't locate protoculture, using a neuro-link and powering the mecha with a fusion or nuke engine could really help, and the link would give the pilot a few bonuses.

Thank goodness for good friends.

A good friend of mine, fello G.M., and creator of his own RPG found me a copy of TMNT &Other Strangeness at...you guessed, Half Life...ahem...Price Books. This thing is still in good condition, minus some wrinkles. So, among other things, beware of possible story ideas from me, the noob.

I really like the Biomancy Elves from S. America. They can create what they need from nature itself...no need to find a depot to get ammo for the new Naruni gun! I also like the Cyberai alot.
