Re: Constructive Criticisms for 2012
One thing that was brought up at the OH after one of Julius Rosenstein's games is that he really deserves to have some special consideration given to the fact that he's very soft spoken. Most if not all of his games ended up at a table right next to the huge Robotech games, or were otherwise held un...

Re: Do you have Pics from the Robotech game?
Kalinda, your Sunday destruction shots are awesome, the little man had a blast finishing off the cityscape! Thanks for the pics, we were busy making sure he did not take a header off the table and did not get pictures. You're very welcome. I was worried they wouldn't turn out because my camera's ba...

Re: Do you have Pics from the Robotech game?
Let's see if I can dust off my flickr account and remember how to do this. I got some good shots of the tables before the game started, but I wasn't actually playing, so I didn't get a huge number of shots of the actual game as I didn't want to just shove in to take pics. 1. m 2. m 3. m 4. m 5. m 6....

Re: I GOT MY COPY OF TRIAX 2!!!111
Oh, and one more thing. Glitter boy. Glitter boy with a double barreled boom gun. Remember back in the day? Back before everybody and their brother had a Glitter Boy or GB variant? Those were good times. I blame the fact that there are so many monsters with huge MDC totals. If everything and it's b...

Re: I GOT MY COPY OF TRIAX 2!!!111
I bought a copy at VIP night, and I don't think I'm going to sleep in the next hour so I shall delurk for the first time in a couple of years to share some first impressions of the book. (sorry for any mis-spellings, it's late.) First off it has a nice section of information on what's been happening...

Re: What you forgot last OH...
Are you ready for this? I forgot my dice... Yes, I drove over 600 miles to a gaming convention and left my dice bag at home. Embarrassed doesn't begin to cover it, I would have lost major geek cred if I hadn't had my tiny little emergency dice bag in my pocket. As it was, everyone just thought my mi...

I'm going to be there. I actually got my ticket a while ago, but I've been otherwise occupied. Me and KC are going to be sharing a room, which I imagine will be interesting.

There is a minor power in PU3 that is pretty similar called Force strike. It allows you to do punching damage at range, but only 5 feet per level of experience. On the other hand it only costs 1 attack per strike. For your power I'm not sure either if it would be major or minor, it kind of falls int...

Interesting, I haven't seen that before. I'll look for it. I've been fiddling around with a slightly similar concept for a setting for a few years now. AtB without the Bomb
Something I've been toying with is the idea of an alternate AtB setting in which the plague happened, but was not followed by an exchange of nukes. Either cooler heads prevailed, or the missiles didn't work, or what have you, net result is no bombs pushing humanity over the edge into extinction. You...

Space native only works in outerspace/vaccum. I'd argue that point, read the second and third sentence of the power description. You don't get the full bonuses in an atmosphere, but the power does offer the protection from pressure and cold that he wants. I don't see why they should have to take a ...

Quick question regarding the two games: I own both the original TMNT game and ATB revised edition. I did enjoy the rules in TMNT on how to take any animal and show how it can be mutated. Id either point the player to Massive damage capacity from PU3, or if he really wanted to use the stats from APS: metal, i would say that it wasn't 'always on' and he would have to transform in order to use the power. Not into metal, just into a larger version of himself. There are plenty of precede...
