I don't have a problem with the other eras, I just have a love for the "OH CRAP THERE IS A RACE OF GIANT HUMANOID WARRIORS FROM SPACE COMING TO POUND OUR FACES" storyline. Agreed. The level of technology and the PCs' lack of familiarity with their opponent lends to some awesome sessions.
