what exactly is the problem here? Rifts China characters use I.S.P. to fuel their powers. Rifts Japan characters use P.P.E. to fuel their powers. Ninjas & Superspies characters use Chi to fuel their powers. what does it matter if its called ISP, PPE, Chi, or pepperjack cheese? the name problem....

Actually, he'd reach terminal velocity long before he was in near orbital levels, so it wouldn't make any difference how high up he was beyond a certain point, if you want to go for realism. I really don't have any limit. It's a game to me, and by far the most important thing is that it's fun. Being that it's a game, I take it for what it's worth and will take cool/fun over realistic. I want rifts to play like a movie, not like a documentary.

As for books, I see no reason for their existence in 2098...but clearly in the Rifts Universe they are all over the place...and not really made of paper since they are found intact in 300 years. I really wanted more from the book, I wanted more basic vehicles, like the ones on the cover. The way they set it up you NEED to have an insanely high M.E. to effectively make it in Madhaven, lack of psionics actually makes you even more vulnerable and even those in power armor having no protection...
