In the GM's Guide there was a section on alien skills where it stated that 1/2 rule for selecting power catagories like hardware and magic. But I sippose rolling normally wouldn't hurt.

Need rules clarification

I'm thinking about an alien mystic study and I want to make sure of a couple of points... 1. He gets all the spell, spell abilities and special skills listed under Mystic Study. 2. Roll for his education under alien skills and subtract half those skills because of the mystic study. So if he were to ...

I had been really looking forward to this, but I won't be picking this edition up with all these errors. Can anyone at Palladium confirm if there will be a revision printing that will clean up at least most of those errors?

Something I've been considering for Carnivore/Vampiric HA's

Since they feed on living creatures, i've been wondering what exactly they're fed on a daily basis. I've come up with a basic idea, thought I'd toss it to you all. Since the Resistance lives underground, they would need food animals that would thrive underground. So I had the idea of a creature that...

Mr. Slappy sir, after reading those weapon enhancements, I have to say that Palladium should PAY you to write their next Splicers book. You just keep coming up with truly inspired stuff for this setting.

Bravo!

At a Sci-Fi convention, someone compared Klingons to Nietzescheans. A Klingon will get up early, say goodbye to his wife and kids, and go meet his deadliest rival on the battlefield and settle their differences one-on-one. A Nietzeschean will meet the guy who doesn't yet know he's his deadliest riva...

My only quibble with your character is your use of enhanced neurological connections, isn't that purely for host armors? There should probably be a "Enhanced Reflexes" modification for biotics and war mounts to use, but the description for ENC specifically states it modifies the host armors neuro in...

Good idea, fellow redneck. Equipment idea: Energy Weapon maintenance kits

These are medium sized units that contain a small diagnostics computer, micro-generator, a collection of tools and spare parts that allow for proper maintenance and basic repairs for energy weapons. Made by weapons companies like Northern Gun and Wilks, these kits are made for their specific product...

There should be drawbacks to altering a weapons basic design. If you increase damage, then it would either lose range or use more power per shot (or both ) Increasing range could be offset by losing some damage because of greater beam diffusion. Or for weapons like railguns if you up the RoF for mor...

Another good reason is humans are better at altering plans and tactics on the fly than robots. Sure they can be programmed for all sorts of scenarios, but theres always gonna be details that don't fit in right. While a human can just decide "Alright, here's what we do", the robot would have to waste...

Psionic powered Giant Robots

I was watching an old anime video called Dangaio, and got to thinking about giant robots that could utilize their pilot's psychic abilities. Some Ideas include: 1. Hyper-Telekinetic Crush! Using the pilot's Super-Telekinesis power, the target is hit with an all-encompassing crush attack that does 1d...

What are your thoughts on Physical Training?

For the most part I like how it's set up, but there are a couple items that don't mesh quite right, IMO. 1. The strength focus says strength is superhuman, all bonuses/features apply. So this means I raise the strength by the number indicated, then add physical skill bonuses? And the character will ...
