Re: Update of old OCCs.

And that's just for Infantry. Rifts doesn't come close to the number of MOSs or OCCs real life has. Let's not reduce it further. Just about all of those can be covered in one OCC, with maybe 3 MOS specialties; the last 6 or 7 can be reduced systematically to in-game promotions with a few extra skil...

Macross Video Game Find

I hope this is the right place to put this. My apologies if it isn't but I thought Macross fans would like to know. I was at Walmart and I saw a handheld video game console in the checkout isle and decided to splurge for my mom. It was only $9.96. It's called the Arcade Fun Portable Game Console. It...

Only just noticed this on pg 194 of 1st edition, PB is always 2D6 regardless of what age group. This is a pattern we see for other attributes (only 3D6 seems to be Spd for teens) but it seems odd, why can't you have attractive victims? That's the classic damsel trope. Mine says Most of the Victim p...

Re: Skill for distilling alcoholic spirits?

Isn't moonshine unaged whiskey? So if you can make moonshine you can make whiskey. Not according to the RAW skill descriptions. They very expressly say moonshine OK, other spirits not allowed. It also says that wine can't be made either and I think time is the issue. It takes years to age, so wine ...

I also think Chemistry: Pharmaceutical would be too much. Maybe it'd be okay for someone running a big company but it doesn't feel right for a Moonshiner. That's the intent - to have a distiller in a commercial context - as moonshine is singularly explicitly included in brewing for some reason. Isn...

The Esper's time is spent developing their psionics so they don't have major area of expertise (OCC) skills. Just elective ones.
