Problem locating Sharpshooting edge
This is in regards to the updated Adventure Edition of Savage Rifts:
I've checked the indexes of SWADE, the Tomorrow Legion Player's Handbook, and other Savage Rifts books but I don't see a page number to find the Sharpshooting skill that is mentioned in many character descriptions. Can anyone help ...

Commercial Vehicles?
I was all set to make an operator who would own and pilot a good power armor or robot, but when I got to the equipment section of the RUE for said operator, I see that it lists that he can own two commercial vehicles. OK, I get that this wouldn't be a tank, but what exactly is included/excluded as a ...

One other question: The equipment section for the Operator states that he gets to 'commercial vehicles'. What kind of vehicles would this include?

Re: Operators choosing additional mechanical skills-Redundan
I would say they are not redundant as things can get away from basic mechanical engineering. Also not having to figure out every thing you are working on does save allot of time when you need to fix it.
An example is if I wanted to modify and build tanks what skills would I use.

Operators choosing additional mechanical skills-Redundant?
I was rolling up an operator today and had some trouble picking my skills. I was planning on tricking the character out with a ton of mechanical/electrical skills, but the more I looked the more many of the skills seemed unnecessary. Operators already get Mechanical Engineer, Weapons Engineer, and ...

Bonus stats for RCC's
I know this has probably been answered before, but I had trouble finding it on the forums: If we have a racial character class, should we roll a bonus die for attributes over 15? If so, RCC's like Grackle Tooth would automatically get the extra roll on MA and PS.

Re: Cyber Knights and Fencing
At the minimum, I can see a clear case being made that the psi-sword of a righteous cyber knight could do double damage to vampires, demons, etc.

Re: W.P. Quickdraw
Never got a reply on this point: Does WP Quickdraw apply to
a) Ancient weapons only (since it is listed in the ancient WP listings)
b) Modern weapons only (since the description details drawing and firing/throwing your weapons)
c) All of the above

Re: Cyber Knights and Fencing
Speaking of which, the cyber knight section in RUE gives different levels for increases in psi-sword damage for master psychics. Are these in ADDITION to the general damage increase levels given to all cyber knights, or are they SUBSTITUTIONS?

Re: Cyber Knights and Fencing
Well, THAT went on a lot longer than I was expecting. Thanks for the responses to my question. Even if there was no total consensus, at the very least I won't have any residual 'am I being a cheat?' bad feelings by giving my Cyber Knight the extra MDC damage. I swear, sometimes the convoluted ...

W.P. Quickdraw
What book did W.P. Quickdraw appear in? It is listed in RUE under ancient weapon proficiencies, but its description of its initiative bonus to 'draw and fire or throw' weapons makes it sound like it's compatible with modern weapon proficiencies. Anyone know the original intent of this W.P.? I'm ...

Cyber Knights and Fencing
Fencing states that it adds an extra 1D6 damage to sword attacks. However, it doesn't explicitly state whether this is SDC only or if it also applies to MDC damage for MDC swords. I'm wondering if a Cyber Knight that takes the fencing skill gets to add the 1D6 MDC to his sword damage. There IS ...

Cyber Knights and Auto-Dodge
I'm assuming that Cyber Knights don't actually get auto-dodge against tech until level 5, but the way the description reads it makes it sound like they have auto-dodge already and are just getting a +4 bonus at level 5. Can anyone clarify?

Re: WP Sharpshooting and aimed shots
Rifts is a hodge-podge of rules spread over many books with very poor editing and very little consistency when it comes to things like this; it would be very nice if the GM Guide actually corrected these types of things. In fact, Palladium could probably do a whole book just on clarifications of ...

Re: WP Sharpshooting and aimed shots
1) In RUE all Called Shots are 2 actions, and all Aimed Shots are 2 actions. All Aimed Called Shots are 3 actions. The fact that they explicitly note that the Called Shot follows format does not mean that they do not follow format elsewhere.
2) WHEN the shot goes off is a matter of debate. *I* make ...

WP Sharpshooting and aimed shots
I've got a couple of questions about sharpshooting skills from New West.
1) The sharpshooter's CALLED SHOT is listed as taking 2 actions. The sharpshooter's AIMED SHOT is not. Normally an aimed shot is 2 actions. Are sharpshooter's AIMED shots only 1 action?
2) If a sharpshooter takes 2 actions ...

Folks,
If you're able to consolidate a list of the Palladium system game times and locations being played at Gencon, could you post it here on the forums? I'd trust the info here to be more complete and easier to manage than trying to navigate the humongous Excel file put out by Gencon. If it ...

One more question: The Gunfighter OCC states that he gets WP Paired Weapons: Pistol/Revolver. It would seem silly that you could fire two ...

Sharpshooter WP Question
I'm looking at the Sharpshooter WP skills detailed in the New West book, and I'm trying to figure out the usefulness of the all the skill bonuses based off of the character's PP (sharpshooter aimed shot, called shot, and quick draw). I thought it would be fun creating a Gunslinger type character ...
