The only thing that has ever really bugged me is that the picture of the Psi-Healer on Page 81 and Page 137 is sideways. The bricks in the background give it away. Not sure that could ever be fixed though since it's a whole layout thing. The Mask PPE psi-power on page 120 lists Psi-Stalkers too. Gue...

Generally, the Psychic Character Classes would be substantially lower in power than HU characters, especially with the Proximity = Power rule in BTS2. Serious conversion to that power level would take some time. Some of the monsters would be of a power level to fit into HU as villains. The psionic p...

I'll have to defer to Palladium on an estimated date, but it sounded like it was second or third in line to go to the printers. It looked like it was in the early stages of layout when we saw the pictures.

Kevin showed Subjugator, me, Randy McCall and some other guys (whose names escape me at the moment) some of the artwork that's been done for this book. I gotta tell ya, the artwork is great. I don't recall the name of the artist either (doh! I really suck at names), but if the artwork is any indicat...

I thought it was a great time, even though Chi and I got there so late we couldn't find the time to participate in any of the games (it was too much fun meeting people.) I'd love to see a semi-regular convention, but since I have to travel from Colorado, I'm not sure how often I could make it. But i...

Since the Arcanist has been taken out of the game and the 1st edition is out of print, is it a copy write infringement to copy it for other's? If it was truly haunted, we wouldn't even have to do anything. If this is the same one they showed on Sci-Fi's "Ghost Hunters" show, they actual caught movement of a humanoid figure on a thermographic camera but only the legs had any heat to them. It's not conclusive, but it was freaky to ...

Re: BTS in the 19th Century

So I was watching Van Helsing this morning and for some reason got the idea that the 1800's would be a really good time period to run a BTS campaign. Now, keep in mind it's been awhile since I bothered to look through the book (and I only really ever had the interest in it enough to purchase the 1s...

BTS can be a great game. But it needs a full time writer devoted to it for it be worked up to its potential. Right now, based on Palladium's financial woes, I don't see that happening. We'll have to be patient for the time being. (Trust me when I say that hurts me as much as any of you. BTS is my fa...

I'm disappointed in the delays, but I can't say that I'm upset. The other extreme is Rifts w...

Becky, it depends on whether or not you're looking to GM or looking to play a psychic. If it's the latter, the main book is great. A GM will have to do a lot of work to run a campaign though since there is so little there to work with. You can only hope that your BTS GM is good enough to handle the ...

I do use secret societies, but I tend to create my own as opposed to using anything with a historical or real world precedence. I've even done an FBI version based on the X-files. It's whatver works best for the players and the concept of the story we're trying to tell.

Re: I've Been Challenged

It is possible, but it's hard to give you suggestions without knowing about the GMing style or the rest of the group. Basically, GM's tend to use many of the same tricks and monsters though they twist them. I was the GM in the game Mike mentioned. Possession can be blocked by a mind block, for examp...

True or false? Assuming it i...
