Re: Inspirational Fiction
I’m very inspired by 80s/90s anime when it comes to Nightbane. Dark themes, hyperviolence, a hidden world just behind the surface. Faceless goons in suit who show up to brutalize innocents and get messily slaughtered for it. When Nightband punch a human, their head should explode into gore. Lots of ...

What was Tolkeen’s Flag or Emblem?
We know the CS marches to war beneath the black banner of the skull and thunderbolts, but what was Tolkeen’s blazon? What symbol do the Revenge Squads paint on the scenes of their bloody retribution? I thought that Tolkien’s own symbol would be good, linked below. But if anybody recalls from the boo...

Well, this got a bit off topic. My original thought was focused on just the conventional Earth 'borgs and power armors. Re: Full Conversion Borgs vs Power Armor
Some great discussion and points in the thread! From a military planning standpoint, the most important variable is usually cost for a weapons system, and the numbers we have are only the Black Market cost for most of the power armor and bionics, which is definitely inflated as it's contraband. What...

Before I start a flame war, allow me to clarify. I'm not asking "which is better?" (well, not necessarily), I'm asking why a military would choose one over the other? Obviously not all technology bases are equal, so some powers possess more advanced technology in one or the other; the Russ...

I remember either a chapter in one of the earlier WB or a Rifter article that had standard TW armor and I think vehicle conversions, and what they would cost, but I don't remember where it was from. I'd use those as a base (if I could find them) and might allow for a custom idea from the player.

That always seemed to me to be one of the "balance" decisions, like "giant size" weapons only adding 1d6. Being some kind of giant gives lots of benefits, better armor on top of extra PS, damage, SDC, etc, would be more on top of something already very mechanically advantageous.

I like the idea! The question of mega or major seems to be a thorny one, because I think it comes down to resources.
