Re: Robots versus magic
but the comparison misses that the mage will know where you are. Unlike an actual box where you could be anywhere inside, the pilot is usually in one place. So is seeing knowing? Just to be clear you are saying that a 6' PA suit with a 6" pilot will be unaffected by certain spells

It seems to be very much more different than that, but I can only comment on the changes you've stated. -Very different is subjective. If you hate the system you will see it. If you love the system you won't Well, when comparing systems, yes. One tends to use the most modern version available. The m...

Well now that's the problem isn't it? If you're going by dice rolls and you have a physically active mouse with a lot of strength boosting skills and a tiger without it's entirely possible for the mouse to have a PS equal to or greater than a tiger, something quite non-reflective of the animals diff...

Strength is strength. A mouse won't have the strength of a tiger. It doesn't have a bonus to strength. The added types of strength are pointless. How about the actual Stat being HIGHER reflecting that it is just that much stronger? OMG I KNOW squirrels can't fly,. I said I would ALLOW it. Bats didn'...

My solution to the TMNT power problem is this; A) Attribute bonuses: Multiply by 5, +2=+10 B) Bio-E: Most animals have a total point value of 75 points starting at SL 0. I give them 150 points + 5 per level C) If they have a bonus to an att I remove any cap to that att D) I allow stacking of powers,...

I don't do measured encounters. They deserve to stomp some baddies, but they had better learn to run from others. Use your players backgrounds: family/friends can get kidnapped, married, get involved in abusive relationships, etc Look at their adventures? Who has an axe to grind? What have they done...

Favors is a good way to go. The higher or more useful the spell the bigger the favors
otherwise you could just (lvl+spell cost) x 10,000. Add a zero or three if you like
