LOL If you allow mega-heroes, I don't see any problem with the rifter options. While you'd have just about the ultimate in utility, you wouldn't match the raw power of a normal mega.

LOL There are ways around the alignment issue. Some classes/races let you take it without any restrictions and your alignment can always change after you learned it. One easy way is to simply get an insanity. Reborn is the easy way to have a good person with assassin.

You would be 100% correct if anatomical independence was an APS. It's doesn't alter the physical structure of the body at all.
