agreed that there's no money to be gained from going from electronic to cash. The character could have gear to sell to someone, which could wildly vary in price, but yeah, they changed dimensions, they need to deal with being broke I think. Its part of the challenge of adapting to it.

I recommend looking at the Rifter martial art Munen Muso which goes into it a bit. In essence, if you have someone in a lock, you can cuff them as an action

as I recall, you add SnS damage to the weapon. now with Invuln of course, you take half damage from that because SnS gets partially through. The weapon will almost assuredly break because if a weapon takes more than 3 times its max damage, it has a 1-33% chance of breaking, though masterwork weapons...

healing in combat IS pretty rare. In fact, my guess is only D&D has a lot of that with clerics healing hundreds of damage in a single burst of light. Heck for the most part, healing via wizardly is very inefficient especially to yourself. Only the higher level spells really amount to much. Overa...

the stage mage is a tough sell, I admit, its great for a Leverage/heist/covert/social kinda game, but even on its best day its not going to handle the Hulk.

instead of a city builder, I think there's more use for a book about how superhuman activities work. Like, I can't tell you much about how a money laundering operation goes, so maybe a section that does a generic explanation about how 20 types of organizations work. "Oh for this sort of weapons...

I definitely think Cascade would work as it's own book - with some expansion. The obvious thing to do is to include as an extra all of the revised Physical/Special Training class write ups in the recent Rifters, as these are connected to the article about the city. it recently struck me that while N&S is pretty dated, it'd now fit well with retro modern warfare that is prevalent in the newer Metal Gear Solid games. Where having a computer in you is actually a big deal!

The GM decides how he or she wants to deal with multi-APM attacks. Before, after, or just count off the APM from the char's APM total. If if is a super power that takes ALL the char's APM I would let the char do non-combat actions...but all the "Combat Actions" are used up. I respectfully...

mages and psychics do get quite the shaft compared to plasma slinging blasters. They do have variety, which can be useful, but they are generally pretty limited by their low PPE or ISP. My solution? Have the PPE or ISP max be what they start each combat with. In essence they'd regenerate magic a lot...

I've been wanting to update the Stage Mage a bit more, to bring it more in line with the others. focus on the stealth and precise strikes idea, but yeah its never going to be a big name hero idea. Its definitely niche, even at its most badass.

they got stunting abilities, signature moves you can design, and a batch of general abilities depending on your focus.

Sample characters include Olympian of the Neighborhood Watch vigilante group, and Manik, the nigh-unkillable testosterone machine with the Red Mist Fist.
