About Conflicting Statistics

Given the huge and varied fan community out there for Robotech, Macross, Super Dimensional Cavalry Southern Cross and Genesis Climber:MOSPEADA it is little wonder that there are several different set of available statistics for the variety of vehicles, mecha, creatures and equipment seen in these cartoons and supporting comic books, novels, RPGs, web literature, etc.

Because of the wide variety of plausible sources that all have some claim to being "correct" it is essentially impossible to determine, definitively, what is right and what is wrong.

As such it is ultimately up to individual player groups to decide for themselves which set of stats is the most accurate for their purposes.

If someone on this site uses statistics you don't like or you think are erroneous, suggest the statistics you think are more accurate, preferably with a link to the source. If they decide to use the stats you suggest, great. If they don't, that's their choice. You use the stats you prefer, and they can use the stats they prefer.

Don't hassle, belittle, flame or otherwise get too excited over the question of statistics. There are simply too many possible right answers for a definitive answer to be reached.

Instead we should focus our efforts on the great story ideas that we can produce here.
