The Spell Cleanse

Question #1:
If you are hiking in the cold of Canada or Free Quebec or such, you fall in a lake or it rains on you.
You soaking wet. Freezing. Can you cast the spell "Cleanse" and it leaves you and your clothes DRY?

Question #2:
"Does the spell wipe away your scent, at least for a while? In case you are being tracked by a hunting dog or Dog Boy.

Question #3:
"Does the spell clean bandages?"

Question #4:
"Would it clean a babies diapers?"

Question #5:
"Does the spell substitute for toilet paper and or a bibet?"

Question #6:
"Does the spell "wash off" make-up?"
Special emphasis on disguises and such. Like would it undo "Ectoplasmic Disguise?"

Question #7:
"Does the spell eliminate trace evidence on a person like evidence a forensic expert could look for (blood, smell of gun power, gun oil, etc.)?

Q1: If they caster considers the wet clothes "unclean" then yes (Magic energy flows over the person and magically removes dirt, drime, stains, and just about anything that the spell caster considers 'unclean'."-BoM pg93).

Q2: Its the equivalent of taking a shower (text).

Q3 & Q4: If they are made of clothes/fabric then yes.

Q5: See Q2

Q6: Specifically Ectoplasmic Disguise, No. The make-up could be removed if the caster views it as "unclean" as in Q1

Q7: It can only be used on "living creatures and clothes/fabrics". Yes it can remove evidence but only in a very narrow scope (clothes or person), so if any trace evidence escapes that scope (ex. blood stained the chair) then no it won't work. Basically based on the description, aside from the person (who gets a "shower", if it isn't something you'd put in a washer/dryer to normally clean I would say no).

ShadowLogan,

Thank you for your Reply.

The emphasis of one aspect of the Cleanse spell I wanted to verify was, "... right out of the shower (only dry) and the clothes as if freshly washed and dried."

The DRIED part.

People freeze to death with being wet in a cold climate.
Or they can just catch a cold or Pneumonia.

IF a person strips.
Starts a fire.
stays warm and dry while their clothes dry they can put them on again and keep going.

That is a lot of work while you are wet and freezing cold.
Besides, without a dry towel or blanket you are freezing.

IF the Cleanse spell instantly dries you clothes and body it could save a person's life instead of freezing to death.
Although, on oneself it might be hard to cast if your teeth are chattering.
