The only thing I can think of is that the SDC/HP cost is paid by the person who will be the master of the golem. That would at the least spare the golemancer their life force for their own personal creations. That still leaves the problem of their being golems for rent, but that could be chalked up ...

keep in mind too that everything does not have to be flying at max speed all the time.. in fact the faster you go the harder it is to turn, so a mechanoid wasp might well slow to mach 1 or even subsonic speeds when fighting, especially a ground target. They may have meant either E-clip or TW-cell. All really depends on if the weapon in question is a TW-item or not.

IIRC, Nightbane was one of the first settings where PCs actually took their native language as a skill. Prior to that it was assumed that the PCs could speak the language they were raised in. IIRC, there was a rift along the Amazon that was linked to the plane of water and permanently open so the water there was flowing into the Amazon. Aside from that I don't recall there being any mention of what each plane consists of.
