Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Othger Strangeness RPG Kickstarter has launched!

I would really love to contribute to this kickstarter, but I need .pdfs. I realize books sell for more, but I'd immediately be onboard if there was a .pdf tier. Please add one before this KS completes.

Re: Don't See A Lot Of Action Here?

If you want a nice change, run a campaign where your players are the Bugs.

It was fun because I didn't have to stifle the normal player/ character over-interaction, one telling another what he should do with his powers, because Bugs have radio/ telepathy.

Re: Don't See A Lot Of Action Here?

I actually cherish all my "Dead Games" as I know that I now have all there ever will be out for them and they are now "complete." If they followed my idea for a series of one shots that all use the same rules, we could have complete games and dynamic games as each new game will a...

Re: Don't See A Lot Of Action Here?

Wouldn't it make more sense to make a bunch of one shots that just happen to use the same rules (and make sure that really happens not just a hypey sell phrase) and that can be used as source books for each other?

That way you can get both the completists AND the stand aloners and make ALL the $$.

Don't See A Lot Of Action Here?

I have had an Epiphany about RPGs: I prefer those that are self contained one shots like System's Failure. I don't even like The Rifter additions. Just pack everything in one book, EVERYTHING! Nothing urks me more than seeing yet another $30 book I need to complete a game. I have a friend that used ...

I agree that the crab is limited on powers. The only really neat one that I can think of at the moment is that crabs actually have little round lobster tails that they keep tucked up tight underneath them. You will only see this is you have the sad duty of fishing a dead one from an aquarium. A crab...

That was my first thought, that the human DNA had "tainted" the spider and scorpion DNA, until I saw the crab entry, that's when I began to look closer at the templates.

The pedipalps on a Tarantula are indistinguishable from it's legs. (except internally, the tips contain sex organs) Some orb weavers have tiny pedipalps. The scorpion's pincers are pedipalps. A jumping spider, being a Hunting spider, has targeting sight with it's two big eyes. Should not be a sight ...

Number of limbs of Arachnids

Spiders and scorpions have 10 legs like the crab does! Don't believe me? visit a pet shop. Does that mean that the web spinneret and web shooter powers should include 10 spinnerets instead of 8?

Spider: 8 legs, 2 pedipalps.

Scorpion: 8 legs, 2 pincers

Just curious, is it just RPG material that's taboo. These forums have lots of movie conversion references and I think Paramount and the like are even more protective of their property. Plus I've seen other rpg material such as GURPS and Vampire and DnD conversions on these boards as well as computer...

After the bomb Mutant Animals in Albedo Setting

Albedo just came out with it's 20th aniversary edition. It's a cool game and I've always liked the generic feel of it's aerodynes and military vehicles. They "sanitized" the mutant animals thou, taking away any special abilities to make them more human. The After the Bomb Mutant animals and rules us...

Rifter Morpheous tables

That would be Rifter #15 not #16 for the 3rd Morpheous table. (#1,#15,#20)
