Re: missing prerequisites

happens three time in three pages in book 3, with the Seamanship skill for the Mariner, Pirate and Sailor, all three have Seamanship as OCC Skills but none have Sewing skill, it also happens quite a bit in Rifts with a bunch of Technology based skills and Literacy (also TMNT/ATB too IIRC).

missing prerequisites

How do you handle missing prerequisite skills from a characters OCC list? eg a OCC has skill X as an OCC Skill but dose not list Skill Y that is required to take Skill X, do you just give it, or forcr the character to burn an Elective or secondary skill to acquire the missing skill, and what about b...

Re: Has anyone used a Night Prince, Hound Master, or Doppleganger Warlord as their big bad?

Had a (Secret) Rogue Doppleganger Warlord as the Antagonist for two short campaigns, one was a "Villain""campaign the other was a "Dupes" both ended up as TPK's the Villains game was a neat total wash por the party the Dupes almost brought down the insurgency.

Re: 1e to 2e conversons

thought so I just didn't want to have to make the GM commit to the Demigod thing, since it was one of the grate questions about the character that i even as the player don't know after 30 years (although I haven't even had a pick up game with this character in a bit over a decade). If I do ask for c...

1e to 2e conversons

Hooked back up with an old friend any way they asked if I'd like to bring an old character from our 1e days in to their long running 2e campaign. the character is a Hunan? (possibly Demigod) Beast Master, Master Psionic. most of their Stats and Gear will be an easy port but Skills and Psi powers not...

Well I know my character isn't going to carry their Kobold crafted Orichalcum Kopis (+3 Dam, +1 Parry & Strike) set with a Pisionic Crystal (Luck: Fighting, +1 Dodge, +1 Inish), just a collection of Knives & Daggers

Re: do different HtH Stack?

Ok good to know, I'm going from my old OCC to a Man of Magic (Mind Mage) posing as a Scholar, a couple of the players know about the fake OCC, but not the real one or the fact the character has an old OCC with some levels, I'm even faking my characters Homeland & Background.

Do Different types of HtH Stack? I've got a character I haven't played in about two decades but am being a opportunity to play them again, they have some levels behind them, they have HtH Merc as an OCC skill but is shifting in to an OCC that has Non-Man-at-Arms as an elective skill (yes it's a 1E c...

Re: Bizantium Dispatch Service (AKA the 5th Fleet)

nope it's the old governmental internal mail, it's under resourced (not enough boats, not enough warm bodies, no permanent offices ect.) Navel personnel detached to it take a substantial pay cut for the duration (but they get paid by the month and face fewer Pay Stoppages & Mess Fees). the Dispa...

Re: DISRUPTED chi (is it 0 / zero positive chi?)

An other bit you can use is misaligned Chakra or perhaps some chi in one Chakra is resonating at the wrong frequency.

there are all kinds of ways for Ki to be disharmonious and they each have a different way to remedy them.

Re: DISRUPTED chi (is it 0 / zero positive chi?)

I'd say yes 0 Chi is still "Positive", you just have depleted you ability to tap in to your Qi reserves Do you mean in the sense of being 0/10 positive chi as opposed to someone who converts to 10 negative chi and then uses it up and is also at 0 but 0/10 negative? I don't know if there's...

I'd say yes 0 Chi is still "Positive", you just have depleted you ability to tap in to your Qi reserves, when you dip in to "Negative" Chi you have built up (or had inflicted on you) disharmonious Ki and all the bad things start to happen, time to visit your Guru or Apothecary, g...

Lyn, Beast Mistress (1e)

Back when Book 7 came out our palladium games had bean on a down turn for about six months (except for rifts that was running on reduced numbers) our GM wanted to re-launch his PFRPG campaign, but didn't want us to have to relearn 1e fantasy with our established characters so after a pick up game he...

Actually the M-16's where A1's, I'd bean told the ADF was offered U.S. A1 Warstocks at almost as good as free, but the ADF wanted a domestically produced 5.56 and the M-16 A1 failed to impress. back in the day ADF standard procedure for the use of a M-16 to use it as a Signal Arm and as a stock for ...
